No joke. IMO, I think Obama's going to make the bold move.

There is a recent poll that shows that McCain is losing suport and is 19 points behind Rudy and that Senator Obama has picked up 24% of the African American vote in recent weeks. The later is bad news for Senator Clinton in that they were counting on the African American vote since President Clinton is so popular with that block of voters. These facts tend to indicate that Senator Obama is making a move.

I was refer to a "policy" stand, not who is more popular. It's still about 2 years until the election, the person that can actually set themselves appart from the rest is what I am looking for.

On the Republican side we have: a bunch of right leaning moderates.
On the Democratic side we have: a bunch of Moderate leaning Lefties (my opinion only )

Neither side has anyone who says: "Look at me, I have an original Thought!"

No it the same thing we hear every time there is a war. I want a new idea or stance, not a rehashed one.

And No that is not to disparage those who are anti-war, that side of the isle is just as tired of hearing the pro-war side.

Yeah, I agree with that in theory, but after the past 6 years, I feel like we need a clean sweep. Not forever. Just for a little while.

A bold statemen; no. It's a candid statement and one that many are thinking, but no one wants to talk about.

The only time I've ever voted a straight ticket was in 2004, but I'm sure I'll be doing so for quite some time from this point on. There isn't a Democrat in the state of Virginia I would vote for, and unless the Democrats come up with someone else for the Presidency in 2008, no way I'll vote for them in that race either.
