So, I put together all my Kohl's codes and my $10 monthly earned rewards to get the Cuisinart Elements 4 slice toaster (reg price $80, sale price $60) for $14.83 shipped to my house.

I had $10 in beginning of the month monthly earned rewards, a $10 one time use mailed coupon, a $10 off $25 for Vets Day, a $10 off $50 for the home, 30% off my order code, and free ship to home. I had a 7th code to take $5 of $25 for a pick up, but I was limited to 6 and I didn't really want to pick this up anyway...

I may not place another order, but my kids are overjoyed since my current 4 slice toaster only now toasts 2 slices of bread, and it's iffy, so they were campaigning for a new toaster...

I have the 30% off code for Kohls but so far not really coming up with much to put together any Veterans Day sale ideas. I remember the good ole days where toys and a lot more were included :) I'll be curious to see if others score big deals though!

I needed some sort of generic gifts for some somewhat distant family members that we exchange with. I ended up getting 3 nice umbrellas from Kohls for $33 total. I used my 30%, $5 Kohl's Cash and the Veteran's Day coupon. I don't qualify for free shipping anymore, so I chose ones that were available at my local store and will pick the order up curbside. I also got 2% cashback through Retailmenot for the order.

I was going to order cashmere sweaters. Yesterday they were $39.99. Today they are $69.99. Even with the 30% off and $10 off, yesterday Was cheaper. What a rip off.

Prices on the Kohl's Veteran's Day sale are an even bigger joke than they were last year. Things that are always on some kind of sale are full price today. Guess the days of this being the best sale of the year for them is over. I haven't identified a single thing to purchase, even if I had a 30% code instead of a 15%.

There's no way I'll make MVC this year as a result. Oh well. It was a good run while it lasted.

hi everybody... posted earlier and now I'm back again...

I finally made it to Bath and Body works... Here's what I ended up with... For my full size freebie, I love the aromatherapy lavender lotion for at night so that was for me.... so yay for me...! - 5 -single wick candles for 8.00 each they ended up at 6.40 each after the discounts, and 5 matching room sprays for 3.95 each with my email coupon, I got 10 pocket hand sanitizer's which they ended up being 1.28 each... I will say this, make sure that you mention your coupons or email deals, at the beginning of checking out and check again before you pay, because they had to refund my room sprays then ring them up again, thankfully I had paid cash so it was simple... It was all right at 70.00 dollars... so I was pretty happy... I still have a 10.00 coupon off of 50.00 I think that's it says... Not sure if I will need anything, I still have alot to do...

I picked up some really cute holiday note pads with pens for under 3.00 at Home Good and TJ Maxx -

While not a deal, I did find the books I was looking for my grandson, The Magic Tree House - Merlin Missions books 1 thru 4, I am hoping to go back and find books 5 thru 8... They were 5.99 each... and I have them in hand and not worrying about will they make it on time... So that was a win in my book...

I also got lucky and found a Turkey - butterball at BJ's for .89 a pound... Great price... It's just over 18 pounds and was right around 16.00 dollars, and I got a ham as well and it was right at 20.00 bucks so I am all set at least for Thanksgiving... I also found the Reynolds Turkey roasting bags, I have been looking for them for a couple weeks, I scored them at Publix, I bought 2 boxes... Last year like normal I only bought 1 box it has 2 bags, so all good right, nope... when I went to use it for Christmas..... only it was not sealed on the sides properly and unusable... so this year I will be prepared... If you are wondering why I'm excited to get my Turkey and Ham, apparently there is a shortage.. at BJ's my DH's normally gets Turkeys for his employees, this year only 2 per membership in our area... same goes for hams... He called Publix and got the same response.

I'm going out this week this week, and I have to rewrite my list... So will see how it goes...

Happy Shopping everyone !!

This has been happening at Kohl's alot in the last couple of years... They better get it together for sure...

I was in my local store, and honestly they had two cashiers and a huge line , and the place was a wreck, tons of carts, rolling racks and boxes of merchandise sitting in the aisles... and not a soul working on getting the merchandise out, really not a employee anywhere ... this store is normally really well kept...and has people working and you can always find someone to help you...

In the end I could not find what I wanted, so I just left the store, and there was still a line of people maybe 15 in line trying to check out...

So, in addition to my Kohls toaster deal (Cuisinart® Elements 4-Slice Toaster), I did place 3 more orders at Kohls...

Thanks to the PP, I remembered I needed golf umbrellas for our daily walks (1 of our 2 is breaking, and my kid needs one for college, so we're 2 short), so I placed an order for two Totes Automatic Stick Golf Umbrellas.
Then, my spouse remembered that I wanted J.A. Henckels International Classic 5-in. Hollow Edge Santoku Knife for Xmas, and with the codes, it was the best deal here, so we got that.
And then I remember, my son wanted a cheap digital watch, so I got him the Armitron Men's Digital Chronograph Watch.

Total spent was only $78 and change, which is about the regular price on the knife. So, I was happy. The deals helped me stick to exactly what we needed or wanted instead of buying on a whim...

Edit to Add: I got large Yankee candles shipped from Boscov's for $9 each yesterday, so the spouse will have 2 of those under the tree...

Kohl's lowered prices overnight, and the $10 off $25 coupon is still good today. So a few deals might be found now - I found a few things that will be cheaper with this sale than they were with the Black Friday stuff. A friend shared her 30% off code with me, so - yay friend!

My daughter was hired to work at Kohl's back in July, but ended up quitting at the end of October because despite saying she was being hired for 20ish hours per week, they were only giving her 3-4 hours per week. All the employees were complaining about it, except for a few long timers who were still getting decent shifts - and they were hiring even more people still! It is definitely an odd way to run a business.

Target had activity sets last week b2g1 so I was able to pick up for 3 nieces, a cousin and 2 girl scouts for under $30. I think I was mostly excited to be crossing stuff off my list. I want to be done early this year!

Got my daughter a robot vacuum from Kohls on sale, with a $10 coupon, 20% off, and I earned Kohl's cash. The tracking said it was out for delivery on October 31...I'm still waiting for it. It is stuck at a UPS facility. No movement since November 2.

My girls get a pair each year & love them. They’re flannel. I can‘t swear they’re the best quality in the world, but we haven’t had issues with them falling apart. I prefer a lighter knit material myself, because I like some stretchiness when I’m lounging around. :confused3

I buy a pair or two every year and I still have ones from a few years ago. They wear really well and get softer as they age. My favorite pair is old and has a small hole but they are just so comfy!

If any of you buy for fishermen in your life, Huk is running 12 Days of Deals. Today is Day 8. I got my two nephews (ages 18 and 21) and my BIL (Their dad) nice shirts today at a good discount. Fishing is something I knew nothing about so I just get brands/suggestions from my sister and go with it.

I just stacked a $20 off $100 promo code on an order at Soma (32693) with the $20 back on $80 purchase from Amex. Which should at least bring the price of the Cool Nights pajama sets down to about what they were last year on Black Friday, $29 I think, but I have no idea if that will be the sale price this year.

They should be refunding you and sending it back out.

UPDATE: The vacuum arrived on November 17. I had to return it to Kohls. The box was so beat up, it was held together with packing tape. Because a section of the box was missing, the styrofoam packaging was showing. Kohls gave me an extra $30 in Kohls Cash for my troubles. I reordered it yesterday; fingers crossed it arrives in one piece.

on the subject of sleep/lounge pants-before you toss out the outgrown/no longer comfy fleece ones you might want to recycle them into the greatest dust rags ever! i cut the legs off to make into dust rags that are awesome b/c as anyone who wears fleece knows-they will pick up every bit of dust, loose threads, pet and people hair....

I got a few bargains today. I went to Bath and Body Works for the $2.95 hand soaps and got some for the office ladies at the school where I work. I then went to Old Navy because the whole store was 50% off if you used your Old Navy Credit card to pay and got some cute Christmas socks to put with the hand soaps. I spent $8/lady and got a pretty cute gift - my budget was $10/person, so it was nice to come in under. I also got my sister a pair of lounge pants and Old Navy that are super soft for $10.

Great gift idea! I Also went to Old Navy this weekend for the 50% off for cardholders. I always get our girls a pack of their low cut socks for Christmas each year. 6 packs were $5 each. But I wasn’t thrilled with the in-store selection. I may return he ones I got, as I ended up ordering 2 12-packs online for $17 total with shipping, and the designs are cuter. Or, I may just give them both packs.
