Share your best weight loss tips

Something that has worked for us, we haven't had pop in the house for at least 2 years. If we have it, we drink it. Simple as that. We just drink water for everything now. I've also been drinking water w/ unsweetened cranberry juice and a little key lime juice (or lemon juice). You can add a little Splenda if you like it sweeter. To me now, pop absolutely does NOT quench my thirst the way water does. Just hang in there and you won't even miss the pop. I never was addicted, but would at least have one or two a day. Now maybe once a week. You'll probably really start dropping the weight by cutting out the pop. Also unsweetened iced tea w/ Splenda may give you the caffeine boost if you need it. Good luck!! Thanks for the tips! I really like cranberry juice so I definitely try that. I've started using lemon juice as well. One of my biggest problems is that I just can't do any artificial sweetener w/o it giving me a headache. I really don't care too much about the caffeine so I guess the only reason I really drink pop (Dr. Pepper) in the first place is that I like the taste. I'm prepping myself though, I've already gotten to the point where I can't even drink a whole can!! :banana:
 
Have you tried Splenda yet? It really isn't an artificial sweetener like Sweet n Low. It is derived from real sugar. You may not get a headache from it.

Maybe once, do they have pop that's made w/ it? Ha, I'm desperate to keep my pop in my diet. So sad...:sad2:

I think one of the brands may have Splenda. I knew you were from Ohio...with the "Pop" :lmao: Believe me though, once you start drinking water all the time, you really won't even miss it. We have a Brita pitcher and it's great ice cold.

I'm exactly the same. I'm down to 1/2 can a day, except for on the weekends, I tend to have more on the weekends. I can't do the diet pop without a headache within 1/2 hour, nor artificial sweetners (plus Splenda was tested on Beagles so I won't buy that).
 
Cardio, weight training, and eating well are all key for me! I can't do just one, it must be all three.
