I have consecutive one-night reservations at the tent camping starting Sat, Jan 29 and ending Fri, Feb 11 (so checkout Saturday)
When I made the reservations our plans were fuzzy on the dates, and I also thought we might want to do a split-stay with some camping and some hotel. Plan was to join together the days that we actually kept, once I our plans were firm. I also made CBR and Windsor Hills reservations. Well, another option fell into our laps. A good friend of mine just bought a house about an hour away, so free-ish, and invited us to visit and stay while we go to Disney. Our dates are also firm now.
Plan A: is to keep three non-consecutive nights for ourselves. Throw up a pop-up tent and just crash at the site to save the round-trip drive.
Plan B: See if another family would like to use the campsite. and have the names of both groups on the reservation. There are three of us, so 7 people could be added. With this plan, we wouldn't use the campsite except to maybe park our car there a few times during the day on MK days. I looked at past threads and it seems that weird rules were wanted. Only rules I'd want would be whatever Disney has. Since we have one-night reservations, they can be combined as convenient. I give this a low probability of interest, but the sites are sold-out so I thought I'd offer.
Plan C: assuming no one wants to do Plan B I'll eventually just cancel either all the nights, or the ones we don't use in Plan A. If someone wants to be informed before I do that, tell me the dates you want and we can coordinate a time. For example, I already know based on our friend's plans that the first night, last night and both Wednesday nights we will be at her house.
