We are coming in a day early, renting a car and staying at the radisson.

we decided not to deal with a rental on the way back (early flight)

Disney transfers are $24 pp one way I was told.

YourRide is $65 one way for up to 10 people in the van. So whether there's 3 of us or 10 it's the same.

SO... anyone else disembarking on 2/23 that wants to share the one way back to MCO? We'll be getting off the Magic

Hi Sheree,
We're also going down a day early, and considering the Radisson/ rental car option too!
For the ride back to MCO, you mention that you have an early flight... how early would you want to get the van? (There's 3 of us, by the way.) Our flight is around 2ish, so I 'm not too sure if I want to rush off the ship.
(I was thinking a nice leisurely breakfast, however, I'm not sure if DCL rushes you off the ship.... more research to do!)
If you want to e-mail me directly I'm tgsesq@aol.com.

Avis rental from mco was $39. Drop off is at the Radisson.

I emailed you re the other!

I haven't seen any other posters here for the 2/16 Magic cruise yet. We'll be on board - myself, my mom, husband, 7 y/o son and 3 y/o daughter. Any kids the same age? I'd love to get me son and email pal prior to going...

Also, we're at the Radisson on 2/15.

Yes, I started right after New Year's checking these boards
(and cruisecritic.com too) for families traveling on the 2-16 Magic.
Boo Hoo... Pete's search feature is overloaded, so we have to wait on that...
BUT we, are myself and DH early 40's, with one 5 year old DD.
I would love to find a playmate for Rachel who is insisting "I'm not going to the 'FUNZONE' (Princess's program, our last cruise)."
90 minutes of solo-time? Ah, a Disney-dream!

though Daniel (7) would be in her group in the club (ages 5-7). Same here re kids club - I know Daniel will spend hours there each day. He's a real camp kind of kid. Julia though at just 3 y/o - I don't know if she'll want to stay - but an hour or so a day would be heaven!

Sorry, we are boarding on 2/23, I got confused!!!! Otherwise it sounds like a good idea!

It's myself, husband and DS who is turning 8 next week!

I thought the kid's club was 5-8, I know he was upset that he coldn't go to the lab!

Marty loves the kid's camps. We cruise frequently and have to argue with him to spend time with us!

We'll be arriving at MCO around 8:30pm and driving to the Radisson. Hopefully the weather cooperates here!

Disney will have everyone off the ship by 9:00a.m. for a quick turnaround so they can board next cruise people around 12:00-12:30p.m.

Disney changed around the age groups this past year for the club vs. the lab. Oldest group in the club is 5-7 y/o and lab has 8-9 y/o and 10-12 y/o groups. So your son will be in the lab. My son doesn't turn 8 until July and I'm a little worried that he'll be bored as the oldest end of the club kids (he's also a big, tall kid so I wonder if he'll look like a giant compared to the younger kids). Even though they won't be in the same group, let me know if your son wants to email back and forth a bit before the cruise with Daniel.

Marty isn't usually on-line but I will definitely have him read the emails!

I'm glad he's in the lab but I hope they keep them separate from the 12 yo's!

He's starting to get excited!

Has Daniel been on other cruises?

but you'd think he's a pro. He's watched the planning video like a 1000 times! If you send me your email address, I'll have Daniel write a penpal letter sometime this week. He's never really been online either, but I thought this would be a fun/safe opportunity for him to try it out.
