hi

can some one explain what this is , and how do i buy shares

is there a thread or page somwhere i can read up on it

thanks

:cool1:

You have to either buy at least 5 shares and pay an annual fee to join the club of about 40E.

Or you can be a member for free if you hold over 20 shares.

Your shareholder card gets you room and food and souvenir discounts, and you also can use Salon Mickey each morning for free snacks and drinks.

ooo 20 shares, i read on posts it was 2000 lol

were can i buy the shares

Hi, I was thinking of buying some shares as well. If you bought 20 shares at todays price of 4.90 & needed 5 Dream APs wouldn't the 15% saving on these pay for the shares?
:scratchin

i looked and the shares are 3.46
am i looking in right place lol

No, I think it was me who was looking in the wrong place. Thanks for that.
An even better deal then! I wonder how much broker commission you have to pay?:)

thanks everyone for their help

i have saved the info for when i go to buy them

its for my partners birthday

:cool1:

Sorry to post here but I have a question as well and didn't want to start a new thread.

My partner and I are considering buying shares to qualify for the free club admission. Does it have to be bought by one person or can say we both buy 10 shares each and have the membership in both our names?
Also if one of us did buy 20 shares can we both take advantage of the membership perks?

Sorry if it's confusing to read :upsidedow

If one of you joins you can sign the other in. I have shares and I just sign my husband or my parents in as my guests. However they can not go in without me.

ok am hopefuly going to buy the shares this week through self trade

it is sca shares i need ?
can i buy them for someone else (my partner) - its a pressie ?
and do they send me a share cert or something so i can apply for share holders club

thanks

:)

I am also interested in this.

I can see that 20 shares gives you free shareholder membership - I have found on Selftrade the price at 3.39 - I presume this is in EUR? Commission is £12.50, so would be Eur 3.39*20/1.05 approx = £64.57 + £12.50 = £80.07. Sounds cheap - any catch?

I also noticed on the disney website it says "Please note that electronic prints of online statements are not accepted". However Selftrade hold shares as nominee which means you most likely don't get a certificate. Anyone had experience of what paperwork to produce to get shareholder membership?

Regards

PS After posting this I saw that scampbunny said on another post:

"and u can print ur receipt from there that says how many shares that u have bought and post that - thats what i did"

Hi,

Just to give you my feedback on this. I bought 20 shares Euro Disney SCA Com Stock through Selftrade last week at about £75 (incl. commission).
Printed off the online application form for the shareclub membership and faxed that to them with the contract note Selftrade sent me in my messages on their site (is PDF file with their logo).
Hopefully I'll get the membership details in time for our trip next week - I've spoken to them and they've said they'll do their best. The contract note from Selftrade was fine with the registration form.

Hopes this helps someone,
Renate
