Share a favorite DCL memory please!

My post (#8) https://www.disboards.com/threads/r...thing-you-have-witnessed-on-a-cruise.3808268/
Basically dinner in Palo. The lady at the next table talking to her tablemate. Head chef coming out and talking to the people at that table. When she left she picked up her table mate(s): 3 stuffed animals in a tote bag.

I say, good on her for enjoying her cruise (and bless the server for going along with it haha). But also, thanks for highlighting that thread - more great stories to read!

Our last pre-covid cruise was in September 2019, sailing to Norway. We have sailed DCL >20 times and this was the first time with both of our kids in several years. We decided to have a sit down lunch in one of the MDRs. When asked about dessert, 3 of us ordered but our older ds, now 24, didn't want dessert.
The server: "Are you serious, you don't want dessert?
Ds: "Yes. I'm good."
Server: "Are you sure? You're on vacation. You want nothing?"
Ds: "Yes, I'll pass on dessert."

After all the desserts were brought out, they brought ds an empty plate and spelled out in chocolate, the word NOTHING.

:thumbsup2:laughing::rotfl2:
We all had a good laugh. I'll have to dig up that picture.
