This parade starts off at 3 pm, just like every MK Day Parade.
Just before the parade begins, an announcement is aired. It is Julie Andrews introducing the parade. Then it all begins.
There are 6 units:
Mickey, Pinocchio/Snow White, Clouds, Villains, Princesses, and Finale.
What ties the parade together are the "Animators"-the are performers in the parade that portray the roles of the animators coming up with these ideas, and the parade is their ideas come to life.
The Mickey Unit is comprised of Mickey, Various Animators and the Fantasia Brooms. The Pinocchio/Snow White unit is comprised of various characters from both movies.
The Clouds unit is Comprised of Pooh characters, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, and several chimney sweeps.
The villains unit is comprised of various villains (incl- the evil queen, ursula, and many others) and pirates.
The princess unit is comprised of Bridesmaids, Cinderella-Prince Charming, Belle-Beast, Ariel-Prince Eric, Fairy Godmother, Suzy and Perla, and Flora, Fauna and Merriweather.
and last, the finale unit is comprised of 12-17 random characters, including but not limited to the fab 5, robin hood, meeko, rafiki, brer bear, etc.
The show stops in this parade are unique in that at first the flaots stop, and a mini show starts in which the characters in the snow globe create some pixie-dust (ie. magic). Then after that, the kids come out and play w/ the performers, just like Magical Moments.
Every guest i spoke to today enjoyed the parade, and most said that even though they grew annoyed of 5 years trying to "remember the magic" they may never get sick of this parade. Most guests I spoke to foresee longevity in this parade.
