Shaping up for 2.0

75 weeks till PCC 2.0. 5 weeks have flown...it'll be here before we know it.

I hope everyone has a great week!!

:cheer2:

I walked 2.8 miles this morning.

i wish I could get my "you know what" moving early enough in the morning and take a walk outside before getting ready for work. I usually walk on my treadmill after dinner, but being outside early morning sounds so nice.

I wogged 2.8 miles last night. It was day one of my training for the Philly Distance Run in September.

Wogged...love it :)

I got in a great workout. Pumped some serious iron and heavy core. Also ran a mile, but between each lap we ran the bleachers up and down 6 times....WHEW! I'm sore today!!

I'm getting inspired to get my butt moving, due to all you active people, you!

Congrats on the losses, too!

I get to work by 6:00 am and meet a co-worker and then we go walk for generally 1 hour. It is nice outside as the sun hasn't fully broke over the horizon yet and it's not as hot. However, we have found it sticky on humid days but you don't have the heat of the sun beating down on you.

OK - I have to ask... WOGGED? my guess would be that it's halfway between walking & jogging

Ding ding ding!

I Wogged the Princess Half Marathon in March too! I'm trying to get myself more into running, but I'm not there yet. Last night I alternated 3 minutes running and 2 minutes walking. Following the plan (from Marathoning for Mortals) I will be running 4 and walking 1 after 6 weeks in time for race day.

We have a Wogging thread over on the WISH boards (in the Events sub-board).

I walked this morning for 2.8 miles and then went on a short walk at lunch for about .5 mile. So the total for today is a little over 3 miles total.

Got in a full 5K yesterday in some nasty heat. Still working on my eating habits, but exercise has increased. I run a 5K race on Saturday with my wife. Hopefully it is easier than yesterday!

It is a basic battery operated digital scale.

I got on and off this morning and came up with several different numbers within a ten pound range. I put my feet just so, I am not moving at all. Do other people have this problem?

How old is the battery in your scale? You may need a new one.

Don, Good luck on your race Saturday, hopefully it won't be super hot & sticky.

Well, I stayed exactly the same this week.

My lip is huge from the burn and for some reason, my left ankle decided to balloon up again. So I'm thinking it's all water weight.

I'll just keep plugging away.

I love it - WOGGING . Think that's just what I need to do. Walking just isn't enough some days - but a full out run just kills me.

I'm going to go and check that thread out - sounds like a great way to build up some stamina. Thanks for pointing me to it :thumbsup2

The WISH boards are great! In addition to the Wogging thread there is a weekly thread for everyone who is exercising. It is primarily people who run who get together for the WDW marathon and other races. I got to meet some of them at the Princess half.

I went to karate last night for the first time since September. My quads were killing me since I haven't practiced my stances at least since then. I plan on doing either Yoga or Pilates so that I can loosen up tonight. Today is supposed to be a rest day in my training plan, but I consider both of those to be restful activities.

I turned it over - there is no battery! Some sort of long lasting never need to change battery.

Pick a weight, any weight, any one you like!
