Shanghai Disney Reopening May 11

Glad to see one of the parks opening. Gives some hope for some of the others down the road.

Oh to wish to be dual citizen right now, if just for two weeks.

HongKong maybe not far behind too if Shanghai experiment works. HK hasn't seen local case for awhile now.

I think this is a significant event for Disney. Even though Shanghai Disneyland will be running in a very restrictive mode, it's at least a start to Disney getting something back open. I sure hope Shanghai is very successful with the model they're going to use to open - it might give some insight into things that might work (or won't work) at the US parks. And it might not really mean much, but Shanghai Disneyland closed about 2 months before WDW/DL. Maybe within 2 months things will start opening here, too. Probably too soon to tell, though!

Good news! I think that this will give us some idea about how things will be run at DL & WDW also.

While it's good news, I still think it's too early to be opening parks in Canada or the U.S. yet. I'm so glad our country is taken it slow.
