Is there shampoo in the staterooms?? If I remember correctly they do have it at the resorts....just wondering if they do this on te ship too.

Yes, they have shampoo as well as hand lotions in the staterooms.

But no conditioner, I need to bring that because my DD and I really need to use conditioner. But if you don't need it, then they do provide the shampoo, lotion, and soap.

It's a shampoo/conditioner combo. If you're fussy about your hair (like I am), bring your own shampoo and conditioner! And if you use it, don't forget hair gel, I couldn't find any to buy on the ship (tho DH was nice enough to pick some up for me in Nassau).

How much shampoo do you get?

There are three of us: DH, who doesn't really use much and DD and myself, we both have long hair and use ALOT of shampoo and conditioner (which I will bring).

You could ask for more if you need it. I brought my own, so I never used it. My DH used it (but he will use any shampoo--it doesn't matter to him). I don't think it would have been enough for all 4 of us, but our room stewart was around quite a bit and I know he would have given us more if we needed it.

They will bring you as much as you need (bring your own conditioner tho'). I am compulsive about washing my hair on the ship after pools, beaches, spa oil, etc., and our stateroom host or hostess always keeps me well stocked.

Another option for all of you is to get showers after you are in the pool. The SPA locker rooms are great, roomy, and have different kinds of hair products.

The shampoo smells great but if you have thin hair that knots easily...definitely bring conditioner...

and if you have any lotion left over, send it my way. I ADORE the stuff. I brought home as many as I could and try to use them once a month or so to bring back the memories.

I didn't care for it either..made my hair like straw. Those shampoo/condtioner combos never work the same as conditioning after shampooing! They did have seperate shampo and conditioner in the spa which is where I took 90 percent of my showers since the water pressure was much better in there.

By the way, there are 2 types of bar soap in the bathrooms. A smaller size "facial soap", and a larger bar of "body soap". I remembered to bring my own shampoo and conditioner, but forgot the oatmeal soap that I use at home, so I decided to try the soap, and it actually wasn't bad at all
