So i would like to know what toiletries are available in our room. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Do I need to pack shampoo, etc... or is what they have in the room sufficient. I have 14 yr old girl, 12yr old boy & 7 yr old girl (would like tear free). I will probably pack my own shampoo for my unruly curly hair but would like to save room if possible. Sometimes hotels have great soaps & shampoos- sometimes not. Thanks for letting me know!

Basically you get 1 little bottle for 4 people (max number people in room) Even when we stayed in the Bayou rooms that holds 5 people you still only got 1 bottle. You can ask for more, but it is not tearless.

The toiletries are very good quality, but quantity is small. Might last 2 days for 4 people.

All you have to do is ask for more, and they give it (at least at the values). On one trip I called and asked for some more shampoo becasue we ran out and they brought like 10 bottles, and then left a new bottle each day we were there after that.

We have done this at POFQ and they bring us more. The shampoo provided is actually a shampoo/conditioner mix of the basic H2O plus line. H2O plus products are great. Love the one they give in you stateroom in the DCL. Smells good and works well. :thumbsup2 Not tear free though so you will need to bring that yourself if needed.

I was wondering about this too. We are staying at AS Music Family Suites. I wonder if the shampoo is the same. My dh doesn't care what he uses, but I may bring shampoo/conditioner for myself. I could get one of those travel bottles to fill with shampoo for the kids-we use all natural stuff because of their skin sensitivity.

It's decent hotel shampoo, but it's nothing special. It also is not tear-free, nor does it remove chlorine.

I always bring tear-free chlorine removal shampoo for the littles and PM Shampoo3 for myself because of the chlorine (both what is in the pools and what it is the Reedy Creek water supply -- it does a number on my hair.)

You can get as much of it as you want, but personally I think it's a horrible product. I was there last week(at WLR) and did not pack shampoo because I was told that the product they supply was of high quality. I'll never do that again. I thought the shampoo and conditioner were probably the worst I've ever used.

I highly recommend bringing your own.

I bring my own shampoo as my hair tends to be difficult; however, I use the shampoo as shower gel and to shave my legs.

I take tearless shampoo for DS7.

I've always brought my own shampoo, but this year I forgot it. The Disney shampoo worked well on my hair. I'll probably always use it now, but I do have normal, although thick, hair.

along those lines ... hair dryer. I forget. We'll be at the WL -- do they have gthe ones attached to the wall or can you just request a hair dryer and have them bring it to you? Those ones attached to the wall take FOREVER to dry my hair :-)

I always take shampoo. Their soap is fine, and they give you a lot. Every day before you leave put all the unopened soap in a drawer. You'll come back and have more soap later. You'll go home and not have to buy soap for months. And it's fun to put out mickey soap for guests.
