Shallots??

Auntie IM, I cooked corned beef the other day in the crock pot with a bottle of beer, some garlic and onion. Matt loved it(of course he has to say that;) so it may not have been any good) About an hour before serving I quartered the head of cabbage and put it into the crock pot also; that seemed to work pretty well.

I did that one time...was making beer-baked beans, went to add the beer, and when I opened it the top of the beer bottle broke, but I didn't realize it until after I poured the beer in. :scared: Happened years ago (at our other house, so over 7 years ago) and my hairdresser still reminds me of it, telling me that it's one of her favorite stories. :rotfl:
 
Tina is a genius - beer. How could it come out bad? I'll add the shallot for luck too! I can't wait for dinner!!! :yay: :yay:
