Charles: (Sip) I’ll be right back.

OMG! that totally looks and sounds like something I could have for breakfast! I really want to figure out how to make one of those! Super Yum!

Suddenly, as if my comment had just penetrated to his brain, Charles said, “Are you saying you have to take pictures of the food because I am DULL???” Judging by the tone of his voice, it was time for somebody to get out of the sun and tucked into the cool hotel room for a nap. I didn’t want any Epcot meltdowns on this trip!

Dull? Why would Charles ever think that????????

Seriously though - I do not think Charles is dull. I do think that a calm, relaxing trip without any drama is not quite as good of a read as a trip filled with meltdowns and drama. Personally, I think my trip was a little dull for the same reason. We got along too well and things went perfect.

I do like Shocker's comment..... That could be interpreted several different ways!

As Charles and I approached the World Showcase Promenade, I reminded him that the number one key to our success in trying as much as possible was to share all of our food choices. Charles does not share his food well with others, so I was concerned about that.

I am dying to hit up F&W one of these years but this is my EXACT fear of going with Greg! Have you seen the episode of Friends where Joey yells "JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!!!!" This cracks Greg up every time because it's his motto too. I would be OK with not sharing the drinks however

I had to comment, “I have to have something for the trip report -- you’re behaving yourself, and we don’t have the kids acting goofy.”

So I LOVED Connor's "buried with all my body parts" line -- TOO funny

And I missed that colada too, so guess I will have to go back NEXT time... we did try chile, BTW! The mojito's were very good And I agree with you on the potstickers, they were good, but nothing amazing... and of course the margaritas are the staple of Mexico in the World Showcase

I can't wait to hear how you side stepped Charles' comment

I agree with Mary Ellen, a trip report w/o drama perhaps isn't as exciting to read. Just know that I'll keep reading anyway. I just want to know all about you trip and I enjoy your writing!

I had an empanada on Monday. It was good, and fortunately mine was not burning hot. It was pretty big in size, though, so since Jill didn't want any, I threw a few bites away. Jill and I each had a bite of the seared beef with mango sauce, and Bella ate some of the sweet potatoes.

It was nice to see your F&W pictures, as it made me feel as if we had just been walking those same paths.

I loved your description of meeting the Dragon Berry Colada! I remember reading the description on the sign and I wish now that I had tried it! I have only one trip planned for next year but you can bet that I am going to save up my points and get down there for another F&W and do it all over again!

HOLY HAUNTED MANSION OVERLOAD!!!! I'm totally going to that site and printing off everything I can on Monday!! Thank you Jackie!!! I don't have that particular CD yet, however it is on my Christmas Wish List so let's hope Prince P pays attention LOL!! I have seen Haunted Mansion Clue at Toys R Us and everytime I want to buy and I never do....I am going to cave one of these days LOL!

Love Chelsea's costume, I too am wondering if Connor has found anything yet he loves?????

Red Riding hood is absolutely adorable and as photogenic as ever!

I hope Conor has some luck this weekend, we had a struggler this year as we. Actually we still have one as we aren't willing to pay for the costume Kendall has picked out, too pricey!

I love those cupcakes! How very fun. I might have to use those for Eric's class party!

If I had consumed that much alcohol in one day, I would not be able to walk back to the room for a nap! And my DH gets a case of the stupids when he drinks. He's not loud or stumbling, but I could talk to him about something for 30 minutes in extreme detail, and an hour later he would ask me about that same topic as if the earlier conversation never happened. So I think we will pass on the wine part of the F&W festival! But the food part looks like a winner!

that dragon berry colada looks sooooo good! i can't wait to go to the festival someday! if ray and i happen to get pregnant this spring, we may change our trip date to early october instead of december because i'd be WAY too pregnant to go in december. if so, we'd get to go to the F&W festival. of course there would be no wine (or adult beverage) for the preggo, but can you imagine eating all that yummy food pregnant??? we're hoping it happens sooner than that though.
