Shake and Bake! TR link up FINALLY!!!!

hi shawna,
To answer your question, 'The Fringe' hasn't started here yet, though we've had trailers. Never watched Lost myself - well, I watched 1 episode and totally confused myself, I think it was the polar bear on a tropical island that did it for me.....
Don't know if I'll watch The Fringe yet, but 'Bones' starts this week. :woohoo: Got to get me some of that blood and gore!
I've watched all of 'The Tudors' so far, it's very good, but not exactly historically accurate. History at school about Henry VIII didn't describe him as looking anything like Jonathon Rhys Meyers, but as fat, ginger and ulcer ridden....hmmm, all the rumpy pumpy doesn't really ring true now.....and there's a LOT of the rumpy pumpy in these series.....I didn't know they even knew how to do that in those days.........:rolleyes1 :happytv:
I love that - "I could have been a great proficient" - conjures up so many images! popcorn::
All packed up and ready?

:offtopic: :rolleyes1

Has anyone been watching The Fringe? Jeff is so into LOST and every time I go into the family room when he's watching that I try to catch up but I jumped on board too late and I'm, well, Lost myself. He is too of course but at least he kind of knows the characters.

So the Fringe comes out and since its from the makers of Lost I figure I'll give it a shot. Be in from the ground level if it hits the big time. :lmao: I was kind of worried it might be too disgusting or scary for me to handle but I'm doing ok. Last week I was a little freaked out but this weeks wasn't too bad. BUT now I'm totally LOST!!! I think thats the point. confuse the heck out of you keeps you on your toes.

Anyone else watch it? What did you think?

Discuss........popcorn::

Thanks for visiting my PR!

I tried to watch Fringe after missing the first episode and I can usually just fill in the blanks but this one had me totally lost. I think it's because the storyline of the show is just so wierd that you have to be really invested. It's too bad because I really like sci-fi shows and it's on right after House! Oh well XD

Pride and Prejudice and Talladega Nights go together like Chinese Food and Chocolate Pudding. Shake and Bake in full effect!

:lmao:

Got the tickets but the gas there and back is still about $300 minimum for my monster truck. Then ya have to pay for the room. I wish I were close like Joy. I'd be there all the time. She only has a three hour drive. Mine is 8-9 depending on pee stops and hunger pains. You guys have plenty of tiem t take the walks and hang with your old friends. The kids are going to have a blast at WDW too. I wonder if they will like it better than Disneyland. I can't wait to hear all about it. Ya know Joy is leaving for Dland really soon. I hope she remembers to pick me up some park maps. I wanna see how it's all set up.

What ever happened to your friends that were lost overseas? Are they back home now for the memorial? That was very sad. I hope all of you are okay.

I'm Lost!:rolleyes1

So whats new? :lmao:

Movies always make historical figures look HOT dont they? Then you see a painting and the romance of the time drips away. :sad2: Sometimes those paintings are hard to shake from memory like a bad dream. Jonathon Rhys Meyers makes dreams happy!!! :lmao:

There are a lot of blanks so far but being from the makers of Lost I sort of expected that. I'm anxious to see how that plays out and who is really good and who is really bad. Of coure it may be 7 years before I know the answer to my questions. :lmao:

the kids have no clue how HUGE this place really is I'm sure. I'm so excited to see it through their eyes!!

Oh and thanks for asking about my brothers friend. The funeral is on Saturday and burial at Arlington National Cemetery is on Monday. My brother leaves tomorrow sometime to head East. No word yet on the Oct services but as of now I'm fairly confident that it will be after I get back.

Ok now its my turn to play that fun 1 week game that everyone does. :woohoo:

1 week from today I'll be on a jet airplane and then eating dinner at Chef Mickey's! :yay: :yay:

Kathleen, I'm totally counting on YOU! You get back Tuesday and I leave on Thursday which means you need to get your rear on here and say Shawna its BLISTERING HOT pack this or dont forget to do this or other reminders!!! :lmao:

I'll give you a report on Wednesday! :lmao:
My weather reports may not count for much though. I love the heat!
I lived in Miami for 8 years growing up.
My Dad has lived in South Florida for 30 years and he went to Orlando last month on a business trip. He complained about how COLD it was at night. :rotfl2:

Oh I am the SAME WAY I hate cold except I hate humidity. Therefore I live in the desert! :lmao: perfect fit! 6 months of 100+ degree days and hardly any humidity. I'm worried the humidity is going to knock us down. I see 85 degrees and I'm thinking Dec temps for us but then I remember to factor in the humidity and :faint: OH BOY!!! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: So tell me its nice and dry and no humidity even though you might sweat like a maniac when you are down there please!!!! :lmao:

Today I went shopping and picked up little dalmation plushes for the kiddos for their surprise/welcome bag. A couple weeks ago I was in the disney store with Morgan and Jake and I asked them which plush animals they would like that they dont have. I figured they would go towards the larger Donald and Daisy. That was where I was leading them anyway but they went for the Penny and Lucky smaller dalmations.

We have Lucky in the large size and I pointed that out but they both said they were sooooo cute they wanted these two. Then I had to tell them they were not getting them but they could put them on their Christmas list. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Clearly I did not think my plan through. :lmao:

"But Christmas is SO FAR AWAY! I thought you were going to buy them now." ON and On it went. Now they will know I bought them. I'll have to make up a story of how I told Tinkerbell who told Mickey or something like that. Morgan is starting to get too smart for this kind of stuff. Ohh or I could just say a Disney Store CM must have heard and called Mickey. That might be better. :lmao: Anyway, after my terrible attempt to see what they wanted I went back for them today. Cute little dalmations. They will fit in the suitcase better than the larger Daisy and Donald that is for sure. :thumbsup2

I picked up Jeff some allergy meds after reading inkedupmomma's report that her allergies were bad there. Thanks inkedupmomma!!!! I also need to do the iron on transfers for their t-shirts for the Pirate Cruise.

And what would an update be without penny talk.:rolleyes1 :lmao: Jeff brought me home some more pennies last night so I need to clean those.

Our countdown calendar has shrunk from 40 days to 7.:woohoo: At 10 days we started doing a dance each morning after the kids colored over a Mickey head. Today was shake your leg dance. Yesterday was the household chore dance. We made up a dance based on household chores, you know like mow the lawn, the sprinkler etc. Mine was loading the laundry. I brought the FUNK to that one. :rotfl2: Jakes was vacuuming. He was like speed racer pretending to vacuum. Morgan's was washing her face while apparently shaking her booty. :lmao: I'll have to see if she really shakes it when she washes her face at night. :rotfl2:

One week!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

My personal favourite was Rufus Sewell in Charles I: The Pride and the Passion.:cloud9: :cloud9:

Of course the vampire is a jiggler and its the kind that only eats midnight fudge! Hop on board!!! We'd love to have the jiggler, are you coming with it? :rotfl2:

You know what to feed it! You are a genius. I have to stay here. But the Jiggler could not be happier. I suffer when it goes on vacation without me. I keep falling forward, off balance. :sad2:

7 days left :cool1: :cheer2: :yay: :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:
