First off--I'm a Fort Newbie! We're coming down next summer and bringing pets. Is there a pet loop that has more shady areas than others? I'm sure they've got lots of shady areas and have requested one but wonder if I should get specific in requesting an actual loop. I'm so excited!!!!!

Thanks all!!!

We've stayed in dozens of pet sites, they were all shady. They have done a good job with shade coverage. The only loop not very shady is the newer part of 600. Request any loop and you should be fine there.

I agree with Denise on this one. All are equally good, but a good portion of 600 is too open.

Thank you all so much! If seen some pics some time ago that weren't very shady (when I wasn't planning a trip) and didn't make a note of them. I'm so excited that we'll be making our first trip to the fort!!! :cool1:

You won't regret it. No matter where you get you will not be unhappy. If it's during some of the cooler months people might actually prefer more open sites.
