Shades of Green - Wait List?

I have SoG booked for part of our stay for marathon weekend in 2022. The first two days of our stay were unavailable when I booked. I check every day (and multiple times per day) to see if anything opens up, but no luck so far. I suspect my only hope would be if they expand capacity which seems unlikely in the current COVID world, but I keep hoping things might improve before January. Anyway, I do have our first two days covered at All Star Music but am hopeful that I might eventually get my other days available at Shades. I also have two rooms reserved for our group of 6. I thought I'd read somewhere that Shades will do a wait list for room availability. Is that true? Just hoping to find out if that's an option before I spend time calling them. Thanks for any info on this.

I have joined a form of a "waiting list" in the past but had to call to get on and didn't end up needing it. I certainly wouldn't give up on capacity increases yet though whether you get on a wait list or not. I had two disjointed (different room types) booked for a trip in October 2021 - it was all that was available at the time...I went back about two days ago and almost every day was open - looked like other months didn't change so it appeared to just be an October adjustment . Clearly they had increased capacity. The travel agents at the local on base travel agency had told me they are still doing this - and even if I didn't see it I should ask at the front desk as they had seen folks "magically" receive a room to complete a vacation. It looks like you have a plan "B" but don't give up on capacity increases just yet...

I was supposed to be on the wait list our last trip but kept checking myself and a room opened up. I was never called from SOG telling me a room was available.

We need three rooms for our upcoming trip. Nothing was available when I first checked in May. Then I managed to get a room for two nights. By checking daily I slowly got all the days I needed for two of the rooms. I just need one more night for the third room. I did call and ask to be put on the wait list for that last night but I'm not relying on that. I'm still checking multiple times a day hoping that night opens up.

Keep checking and hopefully rooms will become available. Good luck.

That’s encouraging to read. Thank you.

I am on a wait list for two days in April 2022 for the end of our trip. I called a few days ago and still no avaialbity, but, I was able to add one day to the beginning of our trip - that was not on the wait list. I will keep my fingers crossed and keep trying but once end of September hits I’m booking airfare and then it is what it is.

I was just able to rebook to get the additional days I needed and I actually rebooked the entire visit and cancelled my previous reservation so I think they've opened up more availability. Might be worth checking if you were trying to get a room.
