Shades of Green Sponsoring Question

We have stayed at SOG before, as my husband is in the Navy. But we have never sponsored a room for anyone before. This year we made reservations for us and some friends. We were all supposed to arrive on Sunday together and then we were planning to stay a few extra days after our friends left. But husband has gotten a new job and we need to arrive on Friday instead to take advantage of the weekend. (not much leave built up with new job) Our friends still cannot arrive until Sunday. I thought I saw somewhere on the website that you must arrive all on the same day. Is this correct? Or can we arrive before our friends?

We booked a room for my brother and family (It was a real b**** to get- calling EVERY DAY to see if rooms had been released!)

We're arriving on the 21st, and they're arriving on the 22nd. I've never been told that we all have to arrive on the same day.

The rooms are in our name though- because we're the ones who can book into Shades. We'll just go back to the desk on the 22nd and check them in (or US in) so that we can get their room keys.

Thanks for the answer. I was hoping that we could check in before our friends. We will just get them to call us when they get close to Disney and meet them at SOG to check them in.

I believe the only restriction is that YOU must be there the days you friends are.

Right. You can get there before them but they can't stay there longer than you, so if you leave on Wednesday, they must check out as well.
