Shades of Green Rollover and DDP

Shades of Green was booked for our trip in July, so they rolled us over to the Pop. Does anyone know if you can add the DDP to the rollover? I called Disney to try and they cannot access the reservation as it was made thru Shades of Green even though we have a Disney confirmation #. I cannot call Shades until tomorrow, so I thought I would see if any of you knew. I would hate to lose my good rollover rate!

We haven't tried to do this, but I would venture a guess that you cannot do it. I do know that SOG and Disney's reservation systems are completely separate and they cannot access each other. For instance, if you decide to cancel your Pop reservation you need to do it through SOG since that's where your reservation originated.

SOG overflow rates are the best discounts we have ever encountered on our Disney rooms. Congrats on getting that rate. It's much harder to come by nowadays since SOG expanded. They do not fill up like they used to.

How much is your rollover rate?

My rollover rate was $79 ($20 savings/night).

I spoke with SOG today and was told that SOG cannot add the DDP and neither can Disney. Separate reservation system. Disney can add the DDP, but would have to cancel the first reservation and make a new reservation. That would mean losing my rollover rate.

With just my DD and myself going it is not worth paying the extra for the hotel room each day just to get the DDP. We come out better without it.

So sad, but we are still getting to go to WDW!

I ran into the same problem for a September trip, but I was staying at SoG, but when the free DDP came out, it was such a great deal we booked thru Disney.....
