Shades of Green Buffet ? (crab legs)

Ever eat at the SOG seafood buffet? What kind of legs are they? Snow crab?
Are they served hot and with butter?
Can non guests eat there?

I can only answer one of your questions, maybe the most important one. Non-guests can not get onto SOG property without a military ID. If you have the ID but are staying elsewhere you are welcome to eat at SOG.

If my memory serves me correct they were the snow crab legs, and they did have hot butter. We went Feb 05 so they may have changed by now.

I believe you do have to have a military ID to get in the resort.

That's not entirely true. I called SOG directly and asked them, since we will be staying there in November and we have friends that will be joining us for dinner at Mangino's. I was told that as long as our friends tell the security guard that they are dining at Mangino's, they did not have to have id. She said they do not limit their eating establishments to the military only..she said that would be foolish, they would be missing out on alot of people. So as long as you have a ressie for any restuarant at the resort, you can enter.

BTW, when we were last at the world in 2004, we walked straight over from the Poly via the walkway and into the hotel. We passed many people along the way, and not one single person asked us for id (even though we have it)
