Sewing Pattern for Tinkerbell Costume

Each year my MIL makes my children's halloween costumes to save us money; this year my DD 3 wants to be tinkerbell, but I can not find any good costume patterns? Any ideas??

I bought a $20 "Fairies" (tinkerbell, and the other new madeup ones) at Jo-anns when the simplicity patterns were on sale for $1

Simplicity has this pattern http://www.simplicity.com/p-1518-costumes.aspx but you could always switch out the cotton for tule for a fluffier look.

I actually think all the major companies have a tinkerbell or tinkerbell-like pattern. I was just looking through patterns this week.

The simplicity patterns were on sale this PAST week when I was looking at patterns on Wed. the 9th. I don't know when the sale ends though. JoAnns usually has multiple week sales.

Thanks Maggie - looks like I missed it. oh, darn it.

But - I was able to see in this weekend's flyer that they are having another sale on Thursday through Saturday, 9/17-19. It's not quite as good, but it is for McCall's patterns at $1.99 (limit 10) and Vogue at $3.99 (also limit 10.) There are some exclusions (no special orders, no Easy Stitch N Save.)

Maybe the OP will get lucky with some of these options!

try Joann fabrics.. I bought the wizard of oz combo for mil to make dd's dorothy costume.. It was 30% off I believe.. $10 total

Thank you everyone for your posts. After going through them and researching online I ended up finding an old McCall costume on ebay that was new and had ordered that for $4.99 (I missed the $1 sale at JoAnn's)
I did just buy all of the fabric at JoAnns on sale though I am so excited to see my little Tink in her costume

JoAnns is having a coupon bonanza this week. So its a really good time to get the material for costumes.

I think I might make a Fawn of the Disney Fairies this year.
