I will be in Loop 700 next wek. I have a 40ft Motorhome with my sewer outlet about 2/3 of the way back from front of bus. I am trying to determine how long of a sewer hose I will need for the stay. Anyone know where the sewer connection is located in relation to the length of the sites and if more than 10 ft of sewer hose is needed?

on most sites 10 ft. is plenty, the sewers are placed conveniently, the last time we went we needed 20 ft. I would bring extra hose to be safe.

We carry a 20', 10’ and a 5' with a connector so we can put them together.

I have found that every site is a little different. Most of the time 10' is enough but we have needed more at times. There is a store in the campgrounds that can sell you more if you need it.

As mentioned each site might be slightly different and also where you put your RV on the site. To be safe I would get a 20' hose. I carry a 20' and a 10' in my stinky carrier and try and use the 10' first. This last stay at FW a 10' did me fine.

Every site is different. I've used as little as a 5' and I've needed every inch of 25' also. The Fort has some of the weirdest sewer fittings in the ground of any campgroud I've been to. Some of them my 90 degree angle screws right into and some I have to use a dougnut ring and like last weekend nothing I had would fit in the hole and I had to stand there with my foot on the top of it to hold it in the sewer drain.

:confused3

We were in site 1736 with a 26' travel trailer. Sewerage & Water were right there but the electric hook-up was WAY over the back of the site ... our tires were *just* on the concrete and it just reached. Kids were banned from playing 'round the back.

I've had the same problem with water hook up. Only had a 25' hose that wouldn't reach so I had to fill the fresh tank up and use that.

Last October my 10 foot hose was not long enough, but my neighbor had a nice long one, so I swapped 'em out in the middle of the night.

I have the same thought as everyone else. My sewer has not been bad but, I did get all backed in and then just before I unhooked I had to move up to get the power hooked up. This put me close enough that I had to keep the truck under the 5er to be comfotably out of the road.Well, Not UNDER the 5er ( I know how this board works ) but I left the truck where the pin was within an inch or two of the hitch. Anyway, the Extension for 50 amp was a little pricy so I never got it. Good thing to, the new coach is 30 amp, now I'll get that extension. I keep 100ft of cable wire (helps to have a friend in the cable biz ) and I keep extra sewer hose that I haven't needed but just in case. Most of the time I figure I would rather store an extra 10ft. than need an extra 6 inches. By the way, my friend with the Cable Co. told me his parents have a coach and at other parks have had the cable not work and with the extra coax could use the next site and not have to move ( I'm normally set up by the time I try the TV ).100ft may be overkill but more than 30 couldn't hurt.

Looks to me like it might be a 5 and two 10's. I've had to use both 20's before. It left me extra but a 10 and a 20 would have been stretching it. Unfortunately there is no standard.

Can't carry enough stuff when RV'ing. I also carry a 10 foot and 20 foot sewage hose. Also 15 foot and 50 foot white water hose. Two Y connectors for water hose. 25 foot extension for the power wire. Five 50 foot extension cords, one 25 footer with duplex on the end. Three power strips, two clamp on lamps. Also every power adapter known to man and some I've invented.

daddyscooltv i think you gave cheryl and i tour of your Bounder one of your trip to FW we where looking at getting a new MH at the time.

So, I need a longer hose?:scared1:

I usually only carry a 20', but haven't had an issue yet. Guess I need to head to ChinaMart..

The new TT has 3 tank 2 outlet one in the front and one in the back, so we need hose to go to both.
