One of my young friends is going in to have her baby today. She really doesn't have any close family. All of us at work are her family. This is her fourth child. The other are all under 4. She'd really appreciate any good thoughts.

Okay don't hate me, I love the outside of the Dumbo bag, great colors and the tag is adorable.... but um there are clowns on the inside of the bag! I don't have a fear of them (unless its Pennywise from It) they just creep me out!!

Thank you very much... I made that dress... It was one of the first clothing items I have made myself in a very long time. I loved it so much too - that I repurchased all of that fabric to make myself another dress like that before all the fabric is gone.

I've never been to WDW for the holidays but I have been to DL and they do deck out the parks so that would be a great time to go. Hope it does all work and I've also heard WL is gorgeous during the holidays.

Yah - it was pretty nasty... Things I thought were "safe" (cottage cheese and boiled eggs)... The cottage cheese tasted like chemicals and the boild eggs were all rubbery. One bit of each and "nope"... LOL I stuck to the fruit.

They do look great. At first glance it looked like all of their hair was one and then when I looked closer I realized not that's not how it was at all. They are a mischievous bunch though and you captured it perfectly!!

Disney update:

Josh knows about the trip... He stumbled upon my PTR last night (I think I left it open?)... He doesn't seem too mad... And I kind of brushed it off like it was no big deal. Hopefully we can talk it over with him soon and get an official blessing. It's not a lot of fun to plan when we have to keep it all a secret.

We had a few kinks in our reservations that she was right on top of. I will also let you know how our Fast Passes and Magic Bands work out.

It wasn't too bad. I actually like these longer shifts better... My old shift was 5.5 hours - so I only received one 15 minute break all day - it was such a long and painful shift. This shift is 7 hours... but I get 2-15 min breaks and a 30 minute lunch - which gives my feet ample time to rest, and the last 2 weeks, I've not had any problems. I am considering requesting this shift... even though I have to go in earlier, it's much easier on me.

I would LOVE to know what your oldest son finds to eat... I suspect he will stick to mostly the meat/veggie areas. I am very anxious to hear how this goes.

Target went pretty good yesterday. I am kind of liking the longer shift. My old shift was 5.5 hours, so I only received one 15 minute break... Now it's 7 hours, so I get 2-15 minute breaks and one 30 minute break - which makes my feet much happier. I am seriously considering requesting this shift, as I have not had any foot pain for the last 2 weeks.

Otherwise, last night was pretty boring...

Today, I will be working on my custom order again. I hope to finish up the bag portion today. I have a few accessories to work on tomorrow.

When I got up this morning Curtis told me: "its a winter wonderland out there". There was a light layer of ice on the tree branches so the snow is sticking on them this morning and the ground is covered. Luckily we have no where to be (school and most business are closed) so we can just look out the window and enjoy the view from our nice warm house. There are many that are not as fortunate and have lost power.

I know this weather can be so stressful for those that have travel plans. Safe travels to all.

Can't wait to hear about all your ADRs once they are settled and booked (when you are ready to tell us)

The little one does have another double ear infection - although she sure didn't act sick. Other than taking a morning nap instead of an afternoon one and falling asleep a little bit early last night, she was a complete pleasure to spend the day with yesterday Sweet, polite, loving - it was a pretty awesome sick day. Although I spent more time snuggling on the couch reading books to her and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse than I did getting the house in order. Oh well, back to the office for me today.

When I worked retail, I always liked the longer shifts too. Nice to get a good chunk of hours in on one day.

I had a good sewing room day yesterday, I am nearly finished with this week's bag set... Which will be done tomorrow because...

I have a super busy day ahead of me today...

I am meeting my neighbor in town for a day of shopping... We were just going to hang out for a little while, but she wanted to go to a store that was a bit far away... So it's turning into an all day adventure. She is one of my bestest neighbor friends, and we always have so much fun... Looking forward to a day out.

Then, I am picking the girls up from school and taking them to BFF's house. Alli is spending the weekend there. BFF and I are hitting the natural foods store while I am in that area, not sure what I need, but I always find something. She has a membership, and is always kind enough to let me help her use her extra -5% shopping pass she earns every month.

V and I will come home...

Not a clue on our Valentine's evening plans??? We may do something, we may do nothing... Not sure? I am not a huge Valentine's person... I could truly care less... I do not like flowers - unless they are free (waste of $$), so I prefer, if Josh wants to do anything ever, that he takes me out for dinner. But even that, meh... It's no biggie. I would rather have $$ for other things to be honest. So, we'll probably do nothing, and that's OK.

Yesterday one of the woman at work was telling the single guys how lucky they were to be single on Valentine's day and not have to do anything - I was thinking to myself "Or, they could be married, and not have to do anything." My husband is awesome and would come up with a great surprise for me if I allowed him the funds to do it, but I am not a big fan of Valentine's Day either. Honestly, we rarely exchange gifts for any occasions these days, we'll always put the money aside for an upcoming trip or bill or something practical.

I'm not going to lie - I miss the no occasion flowers I used to get surprised with. I'm good with the $3-$10 ones from the grocery store, any more than that is a waste of money. It's been a while since I've been treated to those, I think I may treat myself. Flowers make me happy!

Charlotte was a little difficult getting ready this morning - I'm not sure if it is ear infection related or just because she is 2. She was also clingy at drop off at day care, which isn't like her at all but I'll be with her for her Valentine's day party at 3 this afternoon so at least we both get a short day!

All the shops is trying really hard to get people in Norway celebrate Valentine so they can earn more money. So many people don't celebrate Valentine because of that and because we don't have a long tradition in celebrating this day. Most people thinks it's better to give attention to their love ones any other day when no one expects it.

We are surviving! LOL I'm so sick of snow and winter its not even funny anymore. My aches have aches....

Luckily the neighbor across the street came over with the snowblower yesterday and again today to help with clearing out the driveway. We got about 15 inches yesterday and about 8 more last night. I posted some pictures on FB.

Work was closed yesterday, but since my street has not been plowed yet, I took today off work too. I know the interstate is clear, but apparently the side roads are not in great shape.

Charlie usually has flowers delivered to me at work for Valentine's Day, our anniversary and my birthday. Makes all the other ladies at work jealous! We don't usually exchange gifts, but this year I got him a box of chocolate covered strawberries - one of his favorites. I got one for Shannon too!

We will probably go out to dinner tonight, but we usually go out on Friday evening anyway, not because its V Day.

I just keep reminding myself that this time next month we will be in our happy place!

Cale and I always give cards to each other and we get chocolate from his mom, but nothing major. I've never been a big flower person anyway. We'll probably just go out to dinner and call it a day.

But we always try to express our appreciation for each other on a more regular basis, so a special day for love seems a bit silly.
