About the baggage check in…it took us quite a while to get finished there due to the person in front of us giving them a hard time and creating problems. Once it was our turn, it was pretty fast. I usually have most everything packed the night before, then throw last minute things in and get down there asap, then have breakfast afterward. I just like to have it out of the way. Then we take our carry on bags to bell services and head to MK.

Tell me about the coop store. I don't know how I have not heard about it, but it's news to me. I love DTD! One of the reasons we love FQ so much is the evening trips to DTD. We love to stroll along the length of it (or sometimes only half!!) and WOD is somewhere I spend a LOT of time getting stuff for the grandkids. Sometimes we catch a show at the little stage area. But it definitely is not worth stressing over, so I'm glad you're looking into other options. I would have been stressing too!!!

This is good to know! We should be well with in the time limits of the counter being open... Since we have to be checked out of our room and on a bus to the Poly by 9:45. Do you think that going down to do our luggage at about 9am would give us ample time if there is a line to do this? Just trying to figure out our time schedule for that morning.

That should be plenty of time. It takes about 5 minutes or more to check in your luggage, but there may be a line and you might have to wait a little. Keep in mind that you can check in your luggage and your daughter's luggage, but your BFF will have to check in her own and her daughter's luggage. You will need your photo ID's and tickets for check in. They give you a list of instructions for the airline check in, but it is good to know ahead of time, too. The easiest thing is for the whole group to head off to the airline check in and then get on the park bus.

My sewing machine is still broken so I have enlisted my mom the seamstress to work on dd's custom outfits for the trip. I do have her first 2 head pieces on my ptr though. We are trying to finalize all of the outfits now. Next week is my 60 day mark. Im excited and anxious about fp+.

Yes - I was thinking about wearing my Red/Yellow/Black beads with this - I have yet to put them together, so I don't know how they'll look, but I bet they will be fine.

The outfit is amazing...but I am so in love with that bag! That is totally the style I love, all about the character without actually using the character.

Yes, I am glad my dad made it OK too... I still haven't purchased his train ticket back - I am hoping the fares drop... Praying actually. He has enough to cover his fare back - but I'd like to try to save him a little bit. No one is tending his garden for him, but when I asked him about it before he left - he said there was nothing left of it, he's eaten it all. LOL

That's what I am worried about... I think getting down there early is our best bet.

Hahaha... Thanks! That is kind of the look I am going for. I figure that my accessories are over the top, the rest of my outfit should be pretty plain.

Sadly, it isn't our decision that the girls aren't driving... They have to take their drivers ed class, Alli doesn't start hers until school starts in the fall - then she will have to do her hours of behind the wheel too... I am guessing she should have her licence by spring? I hope.

First off - I want to take a moment to thank my friend Monica (I thought her Disname was TarTar-something... but I can't find it)... Anyways, she sent me the nicest card yesterday... Thank you Monica, I had a super rough day, and it really brought a smile to my day!

So, my day started off pretty good...

I lifted weights... which I really had to talk myself into doing - I was not in the mood. But I did it.

Then I went upstairs to work. I finished Auction Bag #10, took pictures and packaged it up. Then I worked on my custom order for this week - made good progress on that.

I received my order of 2 new pairs of shorts. I am getting nervous that my Hollister ones are going to annoy the crap out of me... So, I ordered a different brand that I've always loved... Well, they are a *hair* too small too. Sigh. I can get them on, and I can button them, but they are a little too muffin-toppy for my liking. But they are very comfortable... So, I guess I am kicking it into high gear now until we go on our trip. Something I didn't want to do this time - but I think I have to.

Then, I came downstairs and posted the pictures from Auction Bag #10... The person who won the bag private messaged me crying... She told me it was a beautiful bag, but everything she didn't want. What???? Sure enough, I go back to read her original message to me, and there is was in black and white... She hated the color blue and hated pastels. What color did (idiot me) make the bag? Light blue. Sadly, this person leaves on her trip in a week... So, now I am in FULL ON OVERTIME to bust this bag out and get in in the mail by Saturday. I was up until almost mid-night last night, cutting out and quilting this bag... Today, I will be working on the applique and also the applique for my custom order. It is my goal to finish both. With any luck - I can start assembling Auction Bag #10 for the second time.

Leave it to me to find a silver lining... I was debating on doing another auction bag before our trip, so we had a little additional spending $$... So, that problem solved. Auction bag #10 will actually be an auction bag.

It was a rough night for me... I have never made a mistake like that before. It was totally my fault and I feel badly about it. I will make it right.

And I talked to BFF... She completely understood my line of thinking on doing DTD on our last day... Logistically - it's just a nightmare. So, I proposed something else (and my girls agree with me)... Since we all want to do DTD, I proposed that we also get rid of our Chef Mickey's ADR on our Blizzard Beach day.

As it stands now, we still have 1 TS meal that's OOP. And our Blizzard Beach day looks like this: BB all day until 2, bus back to FQ, change clothes for dinner, bus to MK, Boat/Monorial to Contemp, eat dinner @ 5:00, then bus to DTD, shop for a little bit, boat/bus back to FQ - it will be a late night...

If we get rid of CMs... Our day would look like this... BB all day until we want to leave, bus back to FQ, change, boat to DTD, shop for a while, have a QS meal there, boat/bus back to FQ.

So much nicer, huh? So, as it stands... D~, A, V and BFF are OK with the switch... But BFF still has to talk to Olivia... If Olivia doesn't want to get rid of CMs - then I don't know what we are going to do? The girls and I have talked, and BFF and O could keep that adr, and we could split up for the evening... The girls and I have no desire to run around with our heads cut off - considering we won't have a day off the entire trip anyways. Annnd... We will see all of the CM characters at Tusker House anyways. I know bff won't want to split up, but it is an option for consideration, and both girls have expressed to me that they are a little disappointed that ALL of our meals are together... So, to me, this is a very viable solution

So, yes, that card from Monica was desperately needed yesterday and really made me feel good.

So, today is our Typhoon Lagoon day... We are very excited for this one!

This is my swim suit for this day... I know - this isn't me modeling... but you all don't really want me to model a swim suit anyways

As soon as I saw this suit, I knew it was mine, as it was the perfect Disney suit. I cannot wait to wear it. And the thing I love the most about it - is that I don't feel the need to wear a cover-up.

I also plan to wear my old Orthaheel/Vionic flip flops... they are going to get wet and since I have an old pair, I might as well bring those for the water parks.

When we are done at Typhoon Lagoon, we need to go back to our resort to change for dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I debated on doing an outfit with a Step Sister theme - but I got rid of that delusion quickly... I just couldn't justify making a bag and ordering new accessories for just one meal. So, I opted to go with my favorite guy!

The ears were made by Jennifer of Princess Pie Bowtique... I did talk to her yesterday, and she had some EXCITING news for me - it looks like she will be opening her business to custom orders again... Sometime this fall! You have no idea how excited I am about this!!! I just love her stuff.

The jewels are made by my friend Erin of Pixie Twist... These are just adorable! She was super easy to work with and she has a great product! I have worn these once already (in Chicago) and not only did I get a TON of compliments, but they were very comfortable to wear. So, I am very excited to have them!

The bling on my flip-flops was made by my good friend Beth, of Blyssfull Creations... This will be my 3rd trip wearing this bling on my flips!

Finally - the t-shirt dress is from Target... The Donald applique was purchased from Heather at froufroubyheathersue.com (She has the very best designs out there - and they stitch perfectly every time!) And again, I did what I did last year (and it worked perfectly), I did the Donald Duck Mickey Head on to a piece of felt, and then I straight stitched it to the bottom hem of the dress... That way, when we get home, I can seam rip it off and still wear my dress.

And, of course, the Donald bag is done by me, and due to the nature of my business, I cannot mention my business name here on The Dis.

I am really looking forward to wearing these t-shirt dresses, they are super comfy and they will be really nice in the FL heat!

So sorry you had to redo the whole auction bag #10. But look at the positive side you can make some more money before your trip

Your Donald outfit looks great.

Here it's crazy today. I'm packing like crazy. We're leaving tomorrow for our motor home vacation. We will drive at night since it's much colder then and both humans and cats will have it better in the car if we drive by night. It won't matter if we drive by day or night since it won't be dark at night even when the midnight sun left us 4 days ago.

We lent our motor home to some friends and they manage to damage the car while driving. So now it's in for repair, but we don't know if it will be fixed so we can pick it up on Monday when we need it. I'm so mad. If the motor home isn't fixed by Monday. We will go for plan B.

Plan B is to be at a house to a friend of my friend while we are on our geocaching adventure. When that is over my friend has a workshop in Taj Chi. For that workshop we will have to stay at a hotel if the car still isn't fixed. By now they have gotten 2 extra weeks to fix the motor home. If they still haven't fixed it we have to cancel our road trip in Finland and drive home instead.

On top of all this the garage people have so much to do that they aren't answering the phone. So we have no way of knowing how their our doing on the repair.

Fingers crossed the motor home will be fixed by Tuesday next week so we can go on our trip as planned and don't have to do plan B.

What a rough day yesterday was for you and the winner of bag #10. It will be hectic but you can do this. Just deep calming breaths and take little breaks.

Hopefully you can find cheaper ticket for your Dad back, but I haven't seen Amtrak very reasonable in prices over here on West Coast. It is often cheaper to fly.

I had a couple of the shorts I bought be a little too small, so I am with you in the extra push to fit into them by WDW.

I hope the DTD day works out for you. I would rather the more relaxing day without CM too.
