Yes - Dad is still doing well! Keeping me on my toes with endless requests - ahhh, but it's all good. He's happier and healthier than I've seen him in a while.
So glad I found your PTR! What better place to be to celebrate #21! So nice she is allowing you to tag along 
Your decorating is seriously SO amazing! It truly looks like something you would see in a magazine. If you have any high end stores in your area, you could probably get a gig setting up displays. I certainly wasn't born with that ability so I admire it. It's great that your Dad finally got a spot in the place you both wanted. Such a plus for you too to see him happy with his surroundings. Looking forward to hearing more about your plans. I finally got a DW trip on the calendar! A 4 night stay late March. Not at the time of year I would prefer or long enough but I'll take what I can get!

Your Christmas decor is amazing. I agree with the person who posted above that you could absolutely do home design as a career. You are THAT good! I love that everything looks perfect, but also practical for cozy living.
Reading about your Dad finally getting an apartment where you had wanted him had me near tears. I can't imagine being so far away when the process began and how worried you must have been. What wonderful girls you and Josh have raised that they were able to step in and take care of things, just as you would have done had you been here. Such a testament to you both as their parents.

We are very excited! Well - it wasn't technically our "last trip" that she was sick on... The "Influenza B trip" was in January of 2018... We did go last year in June of 2019 and we were all healthy for that trip... However - I am a firm believer that one must do at least "5 make-up trips" for every trip you are sick. Right? LOL

Yes - it was such a relief to get dad here, and then to get him into the AL we really wanted... It's been just a huge sigh of relief that everything fell into place so perfectly. He is still doing really well and enjoying it a lot.

Dorine! I had previously seen a new pre-trip report up for you, and didn't think much other than "Yay!". Then when our 4 year old grandson was visiting over the holidays he made it
very plain that he wanted to go to Dinsey Wirld (long "I")
with Pop (my husband). So yesterday I poked around a bit and could not find any availability until the 3rd week of May. I put a deposit down and told Pop he better start planning his wardrobe.
This morning, looking around the Dis, I saw your pre-trip report listed in the May 2020 vacation thread. Don't know if we'll be there at the same time but if you see a short chubby middle aged woman and a tall handsome middle aged man who answers to Pop chasing around a skinny 4 year old boy, that's us!

You’ve probably answered this before but where do you look to find reasonable airfare? We’re going down in September and deciding between driving from Ohio or flying but some places don’t have flights posted that far in advance or it’s more than I can budget.
Quite honestly - I use Kayak to find good airfare - but I never book through Kayak, I always go directly to the airline website and book through them.
And it's a constant reload of the page... I also use their search function of finding the lowest fares, especially if we dont' have firm travel dates and just "wanna go".
I must be living under a rock, because I totally missed this report!!!
I am pretty bummed. We had originally planned to try to get down there in May also, but I have decided to get my other knee done in April...so it will be at least next year before we make it back. (unless I win that lottery...so there is hope
)

Hi MO!!!!!! It's great to see you here! (It's great to see me here - LOL - it's been months!) I've been terrible about checking in - I have lots of updates to do and just no time!
Tell me about it - Even just since we went in June - so much has changed. I haven't even read anything about Star Wars yet - I honestly think we might skip it for this trip? Unless V feels like figuring it out? It just seems like such a mess.
It will be so fun to do V's 21st in WDW - we are very excited about it. And even better that she wants to spend her 21st birthday with her MOM. LOL

It looks like Brian's brother and his daughter (Gabe's age), will be flying down from Iowa to join us on our trip next year. Neither of them have been before at all, and are really looking forward to it. He is an officer in the National Guard, and they are looking into staying at SOG, as well!
So. yeah, I had a long talk with him. All of this to say... A and V's response to the situation with your dad is a testament to how they have seen you care for him. You and Josh will be well cared for when you are the ones in need!
