The Mine wallet is too cute!
Thanks Tink!
Have a great weekend at the lake.
I am off to work with J since it is his one day off he goes back to school on Monday.
Thanks Chiara!
Love the Nemo wallet!
Always amazed by your work.
Thanks!
I know you are having fun at the lake and I am SURE Alli is thrilled about being able to help!! I will think of you all navigating things and HOPE it is much cooler there than it is here! Hope we get to see some pics of it all...
We haven't quite left yet... Today is going to be a crazy day... And I really need to get off of the internet and get busy - I have so much left to do.
I need to shower and get ready... Then I have to run to the PO, Meat Market, and Vet (MM lost his tags, can't go to the lake with out tags)... Then I have to come home and start packing all the food and coolers... Load the Edge. I also need to get MM's area in the Edge figured out and all of his toys packed. We need to be on the road in 3.5 hours... We are stopping at my Dad's on the way up, because I didn't get up there for Father's day (I know, I am a bad, bad daughter) - and V and I are taking him out for a picnic - since we can't take him to a restaurant due to having MM with us, and it's just too hot here. Then we have to drive another 50 miles or so, and we are stopping to visit my aunt and uncle... Then it's another 90 miles to the lake. Hopefully that's enough rest stops for MM, and hopefully he doesn't decide he has to go potty while we are still in the Cities, because D~ does not pit stop in the Metro area. Thankfully I will have V with me, and she is always a huge help! Josh and Alli will meet us up there in a few days.
Yesterday was truly crazy... I've been trying so hard to eat healthier (cleaner) and take better care of myself. So, while grocery shopping for the lake - I purchased a TON of fresh fruits and veggies... So, for 3 hours yesterday, I was cleaning and cutting and chopping... It was crazyness. However, I knew if I didn't prep the veggies before I left, I would never eat them. So, now they are all nice and cut up, and ready to munch.
I also made 2 wonderful dips... When I was at my BFF's house last weekend - she made them, and they are sooo good for you and packed with nutrients. They are 16 oz of 0% fat Greek Yogert, 4 oz (half pkg) of neufchatel cheese... For the fruit dip, I added 2 clementines, peeled and then I peeled the sections too, and 2 tsp vanilla... For the veggie dip, I added 1 cucumber, dill and salt... Mixed both in a blender... and AMAZINGNESS!
Speaking of my BFF's house... WHile I was there - she had the most amazing mixer - considering that I haven't seen her in 4 years and we've barely had a conversation - she had no idea when she was making her stuff how much we were kindred spirits... Her mixer was amazing - and I promised her that I was going to come home and buy one. She LOLed at me - I don't think she thought I was serious - but I was! And it's not like I would go out and buy a mixer for any reason - after all, I already have a stand mixer... But last year when my neighbors and I got together to make Christmas cookies, one of my neighbors burned up my hand mixer - so "technically" I do need a new hand mixer. Anyways - check this puppy out...

And I am so excited that the mixer comes off of the base, and turns into a hand mixer - how cool is that? Super excited to get it and clean it up a bit. Going to garage sale my modern stand mixer to recoup some of the $$.
OK everyone - I must get on with my day. I'll be surfing the internet on my phone for the next several days, and I will check in when I can. And no worries Judy - I am sure I will have more pics to share than you care to see.
Have a wonderful 4th of July everyone!!!
