Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

Hopefully that relieves your minds a little bit. :thumbsup2 Also, I just double checked - it cinches up enough that I can't squeeze my hand (or fingers) in there... If anything, it's a bit of a pain to open, because I made that button hole smaller to keep someone from reaching in - so you have to give a little effort to un cinch the string.

Great. That picture looks much better. Thanks so much!

I wonder how an Evil Queen would look on a bag style like that? :scratchin

Oooh oooh...and with an apple hangy tag thingy....CUTE!

Okay D, love the Minnie bag  It is the perfect size to accompany a backpack. You always need something little to have phone, camera, cards in without having to take off your Squishy Bag. Might have to get me one of those when you open up slots for next year ;) That interior fabric is sooooo cute!

Oh!!!! That Minnie bag is still competition with the Dumbo bag! What a cute bag! Love how you did the strap! I think I know where some of that inspiration came from!

I love the Minnie bag! That flower is just the perfect touch - so cute!

Really missing that "praise" smiley!! Your Minnie bag is so cute. Love the applique and the cute flower. This bag style is perfect for someone that doesn't want to tote too much around the parks. Or someone who wants to leave all the "other" stuff in the stroller while they take this on the rides and into the stores!!!

Our first trip in 2009 ... I searched for the PERFECT pair of ears. I found a pair in ASMovie gift shop, but I was hesitant because I hoped to find a better pair. Long story short, I never found a better pair and they SOLD OUT. I tried several resort shops and DTD ... no sign of the ears.

What were they? Minnie Mouse's "hat" with the flower dangling. I regret not buying them on arrival day.

Your bag (especially the flower), reminds me of that hat.

:scratchin
tchin

LOL Liddy... I am glad you like this bag... A little too much perhaps? :rotfl2:

Lovely bag. I really liked the interior fabric. It's so cute

Thanks! I love the interior fabric too - it was perfect for this bag!

So cute D~ LOVE the flower, the perfect accent! great idea for the slots to hold the cards....question how wide is the bag from front to back? thinking this might be the style I want for next years holiday trip!

Front to back is approximately 1".

what a cute little bag. I agree, the flower is the icing on the cake for me. I LOVE that. Do you mind if I CASE that part for a pony tail holder?

LOVE it and CONGRATS on finishing it up!

Sunshine

Thanks for asking... Sure you can... but I want to see it when your done! :wizard:

Oh, I agree... I think my Dumbo bag is one of my favorites.

Totally love the new bag. I love the applique and the interior fabric.

Thanks Chiara!

Thanks Stephanie!

Yup, exactly! Thanks Liz!

Love the EPB! The flower is so cute and the interior fabric is perfect! Great job!

Thanks!

LOVE the Minnie Bag!!!:love::love:

Awww... Thanks!

I was such a busy girl yesterday (well the last few days) - I am quite proud of myself for all I got accomplished! I managed to finish the zippered wallet that matches the Squishy Bag... And OMG! It turned out sooo cute - it is probably my favorite wallet ever! I will post pics before I go to work today.

I have lots of big projects on my plate for when I return home.

I have not started packing... I do not have my list of groceries I need to shop in my own pantry for... Thankfully, Josh is coming up a few days behind us - so if I forget anything, he can bring it.

Once we get there, we still have to put the boat & water bikes in the lake... Which means that Alli has to drive one of the water bikes... :rolleyes1 It is not illegal for her to do so - however - it is against our rules, as the girls are not allowed to drive until they have their drivers license. But with only Josh and I, it's impossible to put the wet bikes in the water with only the two of us - because someone has to drive the truck/trailer (me - ack!) back to the house. It's a bit crazy - and a bit late - It's almost not worth it to get them in the water for only 3 months worth of use. Oh well... We'll have fun.

Sorry for the ramble... I am going to try to get the wallet pictures posted before I go to work today - as long as it's light enough for pics. :thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone! :)

You are just too talented for words. Love:love: your newest creation!

I had that same issue. I laid in bed last night, trying to figure out a solution to this. Unfortunately (Suzi), I wouldn't be able to add it to this bag - if you have issues, you could maybe tie them up? I might be able to add a small pocket at the top to tuck the longer ties into on future bags? Do you have any ideas? I agree - I don't like the ties in front of the applique either.

D~
I can't think of any solution, unfortunately. It's not a huge ordeal, but I really do hate for anything at all to cover your appliques! I guess the only way around it would be to do a zipper instead of a drawstring, but then you lose the cuteness factor of the way the bag cinches up. I'm not a backpack person anyway -- like I said I just commented on that because cute little Dory couldn't be admired as much with the ties.

Finished size on this bag is approx 8" tall x 6.5" wide.

Because this bag is so small, I had to make the zipper "round the corners" - otherwise, you wouldn't be able to get into the bag at all. I also made the straps come diagonally out of the top of the EPB, so that it lays flat on you when carrying (which makes it hang a bit funny in the fence pictures). As usual, the strap is fully adjustable. I included 4 CC/GC/KTTW card slots integrated into the bag, because if you carry a camera - there isn't much room for a wallet - unless it's small.

Anyways... Here it is:

Phew! Done with that! Now to finish my lunch and start my next project... popcorn::

Cute!!! I have a tiny VB bradley bag on that order (but it's not practical for everyday purposes). Where did you get that cute fabric? Is that one of the new ones that's out? Oh how I wish I had some $$ right now!

And since I had the bag out, the camera ready & photos to upload... I took a picture of the tightened strings. :thumbsup2

:love::love::love: the wallet is AWESOME!!!!

thanks for the measurement for the EPB, yup that's the size I want for my holiday bag for next year!

good luck getting everything together for the lake trip!

Oh good... I was so worried.

See, this is why I didn't want to say anything and just wait til I got it. I knew you would think of everything and was pretty sure it was just the picture. D, I love it! No worries. And that WALLET!!!! OMG! So incredibly perfect  Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I was also going to tell you... When you receive this one, have Bradey try it on - if you need his a bit smaller, let me know - I am more than happy to adjust size.

Yeah, but....then I have to really give it to Bradey. Some days I will want the Goofy one. If its too big for him..too bad....he will grow, but I won't shrink :lmao:

because someone has to drive the truck/trailer (me - ack!) back to the house.

Oh, I feel for ya! Growing up on a lake, I had to drive the truck/trailer combo often. I am okay as long as I only have to go forward. If there is backing up involved....forget it!

Love it! No wait...Love is not a strong enough word! I can't believe this...absolutely perfect! You should have seen me showing my daughter the picture from my phone at the beach! The sun was so bright, she could barely see it, but she said it was so me!

I feel like a slacker...sitting on the beach while you were slaving away! When I see the pictures I think..."I could make one like that"...then when I try to make a bag...I realize bags are NOT my strong point...and know how much you really put into them!

Minnie is the most beautiful bag I have ever seen...and I can't wait to see it in person!

I ordered the fabric from Japan... :rolleyes1 The fabric itself is very resonably priced - the shipping is outrageous! Which, in turn, makes the fabric really expensive. But It also makes the items more unique. :wizard:

Thanks Lisa...

These are so stinkin cute. I love them. I really love the colors on this set.

Yah - I love the colors too, especially the more I look at them, the more I like them.

LOL So, the Goofy bag really isn't for Bradey? :rotfl2:

Yah - all I can do is go forward too... I can barely do curves - and forget turning. :rolleyes1

I am so glad you like it Nini! :cloud9: And you are not a slacker! LOL about making one like it... I have "road rash" going up my arm from being poked by pins, I was trying to figure out all day yesterday what attacked my arm, because it didn't itch... Then I remembered - it was the 6 trillion pins I had to use.

ACK! I just fell in love WITH A WALLET!!! My DH would not be pleased. :rotfl:

LOL THanks SUnny - I fell in love with this wallet too... Actually - I fell in love with this whole bag set, and I am not a backpack carrier - but I just might have to have one for our next trip, because this one is just fabulous! :rolleyes1

Headed to the theme park today... Gotta be there at opening and out by noonish. Then I need to grocery shop for the lake. I still need to call the meat market and put in my slicing order for today. Then I need to call the vet to get new tags for MM - his have been missing, and we can't go to the lake with out some sort of ID for him. :headache:

I hope to come home and have a few hours to finish up my last little project.

Oh, and I still need to pack... :rolleyes1

Have a wonderful day all!

D~
