Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

Buffy is adorable.

D... I could have sworn I responded after your first update but it disappeared:confused3

Love all the pictures and when I showed DS the pictures with the alligators at POFQ he remembered taking his picture there:love:

We never tried the Biegnets when we were there, but everyone said they taste just like Doughboys that they sell in RI.:confused3

And I love all the before and now pictures. It's amazing seeing how your daughters are growing up.

Max is 9 weeks old. Everyone that I've talked to (that has raised a puppy) tells me that he should be well into potty training by now. I actually work with someone who breeds German Shepards, and she told me that her puppies are completely trained at 5 weeks, and when they go home with their new owners - they are totally house trained. I plan to really devote some time training Max over the next 4 days - since I am off of work.

D~

We have only had two dogs and both took forever to potty train so don't beat yourself up. Everyone we would meet said it only took a week while it took at least 6 mths for each of my dogs. And still our Max still will go in the house:mad: He has to mark his territory everywhere.:headache:

Here's a picture of our Mr.Max who is in a battle of wills with DH:laughing: (excuse my DS he was playing his Nintendo DS when we went up to Maine this Feb)

Christmas, ~16 weeks old. She's not spoiled at all. (That's only about 1/2 of her presents!)

This picture caused some drama in our house. I have been browsing a german shepherd puppy site all last night. Even contacted a breeder.

I miss not having 2 dogs and have been itching for a puppy and DH fell in love with on online we will see if we have the courage to follow through.

Have to go get the boy up for school and then want to work on a few things including taking a picture of the new country skirt.

I really do think we might need a girls trip though I would have to bring J.

Okay I will say that D your post made me cry. My favorite part of Disney is sitting somewhere taking in the atmosphere.

I agree... We def need a girls/kids trip. :)

SOrry I made you cry. It was one of the best moments of our trip!

absolutely perfect!

THanks, it really was the best. THere is something about MK at night, and it is so very magical - I love the lighting and the smell...
[
Such great pictures! Your latest pics of Victoria are just fabulous! I think she must have blossomed overnight -- she looks so much more grown up than in pics you posted on you ptr. Maybe it's just the Disney magic that is giving her the prettiest smile, but I think she looks so sweet in so many of your photos. Of course you and Allison look stunning as well -- Victoria just looks different so that's why I elaborated about how good she looks.

And no, I am not sucking up to you (think Halloween.... think Halloween.... think Halloween...).

I agree... She really enjoyed herself on the trip - and you can tell in the pictures.

We are thinking Halloween...

And forgot to tell you -- I think my dogs are reading your tr. I came home to poop in the FROG! Tell Max he had better start going outside so they don't keep reading that he's pooping and peeing indoors. You are confusing my dogs!

OK, please tell me what the FROG is????

Sorry that Maxy is such a bad influence - he's just a puppy - so all should be forgiven.

Love your throught the years photos! :lovestruc I will do that someday...

Is the POR pool not awesome:?!? My kids loved it. DH and I may have gone down the slide a time or two ourselves...:rolleyes1

Oopsi - just look through your pics from previous trips, and find a couple that you've always done, n' there ya go.

We did enjoy the POR pool, but it was quite a jaunt, and very inconvenient - I can only imagine what a pain it is for resort guests, since some of those rooms are almost as far of a walk as it was to walk to ours at POFQ. And it was really crowded the day we went. As far as theme though and fun - it was a really great pool. I wish the POFQ was like that. But you'll read later in my TR - pleanty of fun was had at the POFQ pool too.

I remember you told me about the problem you had at that bus. I can't believe that he told the girls to get off. How undisney of him.

That's what I thought. I could have understood him leaving if I was no where in sight - but seriously, when he pulled away, I was just at the back door. :confused3

I agree with you about that women who used the fixings bar as her own personal salad bar. It is people like that who drive up the prices for the rest of us and it is totally stealing.

I know that it used to be one of the "big money saving tips" - but I just think that, if you go to Disney, you just need to budget out your food. If you can't afford to feed yourselves while you are there - then maybe you should wait a bit longer to you can save up more $$, or maybe you shouldn't go at all. Because things like that really get to me, and I shouldn't write about them here. BUt it's my TR - so I guess this is the best place for my rant. Besides, if someone comes in here to pick me apart, I know you all will back me up - right? LOL

[I went to the Tiki Room in 2009 and it broke down in the middle of the show. I was so disappointed that I have not returned since. Many years ago it was refurbed and Iago and another Disney Bird (forget who) was added to the show and it was now TIki Room Under new Managment. Many people thought they ruined the show so when there was a fire there last year they removed the new character and resotored it to closer to the original. I think people like it for nostolgic reasons.
a

Hmmm... I missed the memo about the fire/consequentail refurb. Interesting... I still didn't think it was overly wonderful - but I guess I can see why some people would love it?

joining in! I like the now and then photos a lot!

Welcome!!! Thanks - I love doing them, but now I need to get them organized, because they are a hot mess in my Photobucket acct. :confused3

D~

I'm late, but I'm here!

Tink!!! I am go glad you're here!

I agree with your dd, the slide at POR IS better than the one at FQ. But the Jaguar slide at CSR is better than POR's

I guess I will have to go hunt down pictures of the Jaguar slide - I honestly don't even know what it looks like.

I love that evening shot of the 2 girls in front of the train station!! How did you find a deserted area? That place is usually so hopping!

Actually, it was pretty dead that night. Since we had closed the park - there weren't too many people there, and because it was dark out, I don't think anyone even thought about doing pics.

The salad at Pecos Bill's. Now that was bold!! No wonder POP charges extra for multiple salad dressings. Soon all of Disney will be like our local McDonalds and charge for more than one pack of sauce. As long as they don't charge for ketchup, I think I'm ok.

I know - I probably would have been less disgusted if that person would have taken one or two packets of dressing. But really, what in the world do you need with 10-15 dressing packets? Honestly? More than likely, she threw them away later because she didn't use them.

Don't you just love that Donald glass art? I have the perfect lighted cabinet for it. I keep telling dh that glass would look great there. Right now it's sporting an over abundance of Disney cookie jars and platters.

I do love it. Right now, my china cabinet is full of my porcelin doll collection, my Snow Bunny collection, and a few odds and ends items that are important to me. The funny part, is all my actual China is stored in boxes in the back of a closet.

The CP pictures look great! And I love the now and then photos!

THanks! I love the then n' now pics! So much fun to look back!

Love the updates today! The POR pool looks nice. I would have hidden like Victoria if someone told me I had to get out! Can't believe the bus driver did that . Its not like they have a definite schedule they have to keep to.

I know, and it was just an internal bus - so really... :confused3

I really enjoy the then and now pictures! I have to dig up the ones from 2008 and post them on FB at some point.

You should. There is actually a whole thread here on The Dis devoted to then n' now pics, which is what inspired me to start taking them. I'll try to post the link when I am not on the laptop that's the topic of a puppy's fascination.

I  Max! He is such a stinkin' cutie! Just wait until he gets bigger, V won't want him falling asleep in her lap. Our last shepherd thought she was a lap dog - nothing like having 60 lbs of dog laying on your lap! :lmao: As promised a few replies ago, here are a few pictures of my baby.

I dunno... She loved cuddling with Rufus - and I could often find them on the couch (which he wasn't supposed to be on) with his head and half his body on her lap. LOL So, I am sure MM might turn out to be the same way? LOL

First day home, mid November, ~10 weeks old. DS wanted to call her Fluffy but DH didn't think that was an appropriate name for her when she got bigger. So we changed it to Buffy. (Yes, as in the vampire slayer. DS had just seen a commercial for that show on TV.)
11139_192040942201_686827201_3418305_1513877_n.jpg

OMG!!! Buffy is so adorable! I loved seeing all the pictures and "watching her grow up" - so sweet! And she does look a bit spoiled - however - she looks incredibly happy, so I am sure she doesn't mind the spoiling. Thanks so much for sharing pics of her with us - I hope you'll continue to do so. :)

Speaking of adorable dogs...even though you have to take my word for it...no pictures here.

I was sitting in the living room when I kept hearing a banging noise... As usual I hollered at the kids but they were in their rooms...and the noise seemed to be coming from outside.

I went to the back door...and sure enough, Mr Max was next to the wall, playing ball. He had a hard rubber ball and was throwing it against the wall and chasing it as it bounced away!

He looked at me like...What's wrong mom? I'm just playing!

My Max is only 6 months old but seems to be much larger than our previous German Shepherd at 6 months...and he maxed out at 120 pounds! (no fat...all muscle!) I'm thinking we may have another large fellow on our hands!

ROFL that your Max is keeping himself amused. You should have taken video - that would have been hilarious!

Love the pictures of sleeping Monster Max! So cute!
Nini

Yah - he's super cute when he needs to be. LOL

Joining!

You can obviously tell that Donald is my favorite character too! I just don't understand why he doesn't get more love.

Welcome!!!! Yah - poor Donald - he rarely gets any attention. Although, when I wore my awesome DD outfit to Epcot, he really wasn't that thrilled about it, like I thought he would be. Actually, he acted a bit jealous???

I love your then and now segments. Such a great way to look back on trips.

Thanks! I knew I wanted to put them in my TR - but I wasn't quite sure how to work them in, since I have soooo many now - I decided to just put them in at the end of each day.

I just about cried when I read about the vet doing that for you with Rufus paw print. That was such a thoughtful thing to do. I would have started crying myself.

Yes, it was wonderful, and just an amazing gift. Something that didn't cost them a lot of $$, but so thoughtful - things like that mean the most to me.

well I've already planned our thanksgiving trip with the other DIS ladies so I can't change now...so you all will have to be the ones to change

I dunno how we are going to work this out ladies... it seems that everyone wants to go at Halloween???? BUt Lisa won't be there.... :sad2:

oh bring J...he'll get lots of attention for all of us !!!

I agree!

we love sitting a watching people too, some of the best entertainment there.

I know - it is so much fun. I feel like we don't get to do it often enough while we are there though.

reat photos yet again D....you look so cute in your Donald hat!
bummer about the bus driver.....lesson learned, go potty before you leave the house

Thanks!

That's the problem - I had gone potty... I just had to go again... LOL

what a day you had....opened and closed the MK what could be better
love the before and after photos too!

I know - it was wonderful! Really!

MM looks so cute and innocent while he's sleeping

I agree - but he's a twirp while he is awake.

Buffy is adorable! Such a pretty dog! And she kept some of her fluff!

I wish my dogs would entertain themselves by playing ball against the wall. They apparently have started entertaining themselves by peeing and pooing in the house again since D's max told them it was OK! And dh was NOT happy about the poo in the FROG -- it's his room you know and he is not a dog fan as it is.

You'll all have to go without me then :sad1:

We'll figure out a time to go that will please everyone... We still have quite a few months before we even need to book it.

D~

Yeah for DH not wanting to wait 3 years LOL.

Thanks for the apple info I didn't know that and I bought my mac in 2008, thankfully I have not had one problem but I guess I will be thinking of getting another one next year.

Welcome! I was surprised about the Vintage thing, but I guess it makes sense.

Honestly, for next time, I think I need to schedule 2 breakfasts at CP - because that really is the best bf spot, IMO. However, we have yet to get an ADR at CM - so I need to make a point of that too.

Oh - but Tusker House breakfast is SO SO YUM YUM YUMMY!!! Plus, it has your favorite guy AND can get you into your favorite park early :)

THanks! One of the best things I did for this trip, was that I watched Disney online for when a pin set went on sale, it didn't matter which one - they were just for trading anyways. A set of 7 went on sale for $8.99 (I think??) and I purchased 10 of them... So we had a whole bag of genuine, non-scrap, traders with us... All of us dug into the bag every morning and outfitted ourselves with a bunch, and traded them all for ones that we wanted. So, for less than $100 (Which is a bargain for pins, if you look at the price of them down there) we got a fantastic amout of pins. So, I highly recommend watching DO and getting your traders that way - it's so much cheaper. You can get them on Ebay too, but I really don't recommend it - because it's really had to tell if the seller is selling you a bunch of scrap pins, or the real thing - usually if they are really cheap - it's almost guaranteed that it's the scrappers.

We don't do pins, mostly because of the cost, but that's a fabulous idea! Something for me to consider before our next trip. . .

You definately need to do the silhouettes - they really are the best and cheapest souvenir in Disney.

I have one of Phalen when he was 3 and one of Finn from this trip when he was 3. I still need to hang them up though :rolleyes1

I know... but I soooo love WDW at halloween.... I will have to see what the girls' school schedule looks like for next year - I don't think it's posted yet?

I guess we could???? I am planning a Sweet 16 trip with my BFF and her dd in Oct of 2014 anyways - so I guess we could try it for Christmas instead. Liddy, how does that work with your schedule?

I would really prefer NOT to be there on the actual TG day... Josh really wouldn't be in favor of the girls and I being gone on an actual holiday.

We're bringing our kiddos right?

I'd love to see it for Halloween . . . but that week we had after Thanksgiving (we went Sunday to Saturday, so no, not actually there for Turkey Day OR Black Friday) was pretty amazing. Super low crowd levels and lots of beautiful weather!

I HAVE to bring my kiddos to even consider it.

LOL He needs to get his story straight.

Actually - I did go in search of it. I was so excited because someone had bumped it to the first page again... Only to find no update. Oh well, I understand... Anxiously waiting though.

THat is so awesome about Phay!!! You have a little genious on your hands! Great job - since we know all the kudos go to you for being such a great teacher to him!

Marianne - I am planning to make your chicken taco thingys today! I am super excited to try them, because they sound delicious!

DH does need to get his story straight, but I'm not calling him on it... I'm just glad he had such a great time he wants to go again!

I promise I'll spend some time today and at least get the Pirate's League update posted.

Phalen, I just love him. For all the times I wish I could just let him go to school, I stop and think about it and know that this is what's best for our family and I don't need the validation of someone else grading him to know he's a bright kid with a big future ahead of him. I'd hate to see him get labeled like my dad as a "problem child" - that label has stuck with my dad all his life and he still does things "because" of that label.:sad2:

The chicken tacos are so YUM! I ate all the leftovers by myself over the past few days. Two soft chicken tacos for lunch and dinner 2 days :) I would still eat more if I hadn't eaten them all :)

Oh, I got sad, sad news at work yesterday. I was given notice that starting mid-April, we will no longer process film (not all Targets, just random ones). I love processing film - I just love the art of it. All we will continue to do is digital - and there is really nothing to that - it's all automatic. The only bonus to this, is that we get a whole new lab (which we desperately needed), as our machines were old and constantly down due to needing repairs. Some of my favorite guests are still avid film users, so I am afraid I won't see much of them anymore - they will be so sad - since they came to me exclusivley because of my *sparkling personality* - so I am told. :wizard: Anyways... Processing film was a highlight of my day - even if we didn't do a lot - it really added to the enjoyment of my job...

I hope you all have a great day - I will try to do another update this afternoon.

That's so sad! I LOVE the dark room and processing film and photographs. If we still lived in RI and I had access to the dark room I know I'd still shoot film quite a bit. I love shooting in black & white and processing & printing it myself.
It's getting harder and harder to find processing places for film. So sad.

D~

bummer about your computer, nice you get your Dad's though!
way to go Phalen :woohoo: smart little man you are!

[/COLOR]

Thanks Lisa!

What dates are you going at Thanksgiving??? The week OF or Thanksgiving and the week after? or a little of both??

Anyways, we changed our clothes and I donned my best Donald gear, and back to MK we went!
IMG_3216.jpg

Surprisingly, the girls weren't all that embarassed to be seen with me. However, I think if I had worn my Donald capris that night - I probably wouldn't have seen them for the rest of the evening.

Allison being silly on the bus:
IMG_3217.jpg

I guess, in my life, there is nothing more enjoyable to me, than sitting on a bench in MK, enjoying a Dole Whip, watching the Castle change colors and one of my daughters on each side of me. It's one of those moments in your life that you just wish you could freeze time.
As we exited the park... I had one picture I had to take:
IMG_3285.jpg

After we had boarded the bus, I realized that the girls and I had closed MK today. It was 10pm.

Victoria was so tired that she fell asleep on me... Just like when she was little.
IMG_3288.jpg

All in all, it was just a very enjoyable and memorable day at MK.

Favorites:

Allison = Wishes
Victoria = Stuffed French toast at CP
D~ = Eating Dole Whips in front of the Castle with the girls

D~

I love that you titled Alli's picture as her being silly and you and Victoria's picture as "best gear" :rotfl2:

Bummer about the internal driver - so odd! Definitely not a "disney moment"

I agree about those little moments like you had with the dole whips, your girls and Wishes. I had a couple with the boys on our trip and they just  warm the heart.

LOVE the pic out front of MK! And how sweet V fell asleep on you!

I really do think we might need a girls trip though I would have to bring J.

Okay I will say that D your post made me cry. My favorite part of Disney is sitting somewhere taking in the atmosphere.

Please please please bring J! My boys are just on either side of him age wise, right? They don't mind being the only boys among girls, but they'd love a buddy along :)

Aw! Have you seen the book about a GS and a baby duck? That dog's name is Fluffy :) Your Buffy is adorable!

Buffy is adorable.

YES! Thank you for posting about Doughboys! That is all I can think of when I hear about Biegnets. Mmmm - Iggy's doughboys. See, now you've got me all excited for RI food! :rotfl:

All these Max dogs. . . so cute!!!!

Are you getting in on this trip these ladies are planning, Michelle? You're going sometime this fall, right?

D~ Enjoying reading your TR! Had we kept our plans for 3/7 We would have crossed paths for sure on that day. We had an 8:10 ADR at CP but got to the bus stop and decided to skip it. Instead we went back to spend time at BWI

WE went to MK sometime around noon, I am guessing as you and your girls went back to your resort then around 6 we decided we were just too tired to stay for the Dessert Party and fight the night crowds just as you were coming back to MK

Crazy huh Ihated that we paid $50+ for the party but DH and I were beat after dinner at Tony's which was great btw

I'm late, I'm sorry, but I'm here and I can't wait to read all about it! popcorn::

Max is so incredibly adorable! Is he really as soft and cuddly as he looks?

I am really, really enjoying your TR! It looks like it was a great trip and I can't hear about the rest. I also LOVE the "then and now" pictures...so awesome! :thumbsup2

Thursday, March 8th

I woke at 5:45am - I coudn't figure out how to shut off the alarm in the dark, so I was forced to sit there and listen to static/salsa dance music. :confused3

I went online to check on all of the treadjackers who had taken over my PTR while I was gone. I should have hired a babysitter...

At 6:15, I went down to Sassagoula to fill our mugs and get lots of beignets.

When I came back, I woke the girls so we could eat breakfast and they could get ready.

At 8am, Corri came to our room - she was so sweet and Pixie Dusted the girls with glow bracelets and she gave all of us the cutest puppy dog picture frame, so we could put in a photo of Ruf. :lovestruc

Shortly after, we were headed to the bus stop, on our way to Epcot. We had a great day planned today - we were all excited to do various Dismeets through out the day, and for our "big" Dismeet tonight at POR.

Or original plan was to meet Liddy outside the gates of Epcot, get FP for Soarin' and ride TT together, then back to Soarin' to use our FP. But Liddy was having a hard time getting going that morning, so we were forced to move on with out her, and meet up later.

When we arrived at Epcot - the lines were already formed, so we stood there and chatted with several people around us. The guest behind us was in love with all our customs that day - especially Victoria's Goofy items - so we chatted with her at length while waiting for the park to open. While we were chatting - Corri went to Guest Services.

I did manage to snap a few pictures.
IMG_3289.jpg

IMG_3290.jpg

I also managed to snap a picture of Spaceship Earth as we were walking in:
IMG_3295.jpg

We decided to head towards Soarin' first... But, of course, I got sidetracked by a couple of characters with very little of a line.

First we got to see Daisy - And boy was Daisy happy to see me, all decked out in my second best Donald gear! Would you believe that I don't have one single photo of me with Daisy??? She just gushed and gushed over my outfit and how much she loved it and loved Donald too. She even took off her bracelet and put it on as a ring - and proceeded to "tell" me that she was very upset that she didn't have an official ring yet.

I do have a few photopass pictures - but obviously don't have them yet.

Then we got to meet Stitch:
IMG_3298.jpg

We proceeded forward with our plans to go to Soarin'... Yet again - D~ got distracted by characters. We passed the Character greeting spot and saw that the wait to see the characters was 10 minutes... Must stop so see them before their lines got long!

First we got to meet The Man himself - MM - not my Monster Max - but the Mickey Mouse!
IMG_3303.jpg

Then there was Pluto:
IMG_3306.jpg

And Minnie:
IMG_3309.jpg

Then of course, we got to meet my favorite guy - Donald... Donald was having an off day today. He did not seem to be all that happy that I loved him so much - as a matter of fact - he almost seemed angry. :confused3 In retrospect - I think he was jealous, after all, he is kind of the jealous type - because I was trully all Donald that day!

I did manage to get a hug:
IMG_3313.jpg

And he posed for a picture:
IMG_3314.jpg

I even got him to sign my bag - however - He signed GIGANTIC over his face, and in all honesty, I feel like he wrecked my bag. The only thing that consoles me - is that I can always make another one. LOL

We did get to meet another character here, and I am sure you all can guess who is missing. :rolleyes1 However, I need to save that experience - because it was such a magical moment for Victoria that it deserves it's own post. Not only that, but I have sooooo many pictures of it - it needs it's own post. LOL

So please stay tuned... I'll try to get it posted later today, if MM is good to me.

Okay ladies here's my tentative plan for our Thanksgiving trip 2013!!
fly out late on Thursday the Nov 21st and staying until Monday Dec 2nd and staying at POFQ again!
yes Megan will miss 6 days of school but she is great at doing her homework and our school dist is okay with families taking trips during the year as long as its not excessive!

D~ love your customs for Epcot!
fun character experiences...well other than Donald, to bad he was in a mood and I'd be upset he ruined your bag :headache: I know who Victoria saw  can't wait to see those pictures of our special guy :lovestruc

You know I don't have any pictures of Daisy also. How crazy is that. I guess that was before we decided to hand off the camera's to help each other out.:confused3

I loved your interaction with Daisy. It was just precious. If only Donald had reacted to you outfit the same way. But than I had the same thing happen to me. Mickey absolutly gushed about my outfit that featured Minnie, but Minnie could have cared less.:headache: Oh well, I guess we all can have a off day.

I can't wait to see your next post. Of course I have seen the pics that you took with my camera, but hopefully I took alot of nice pictures.

Don't forget about the CM's who were just loving all of our outfits.:thumbsup2

Great pictures at character connection! Can't wait to see the pics of Victoria with her special character! Too bad that Donald wrote so gigantic on his face. You'd never know it was upsetting because the pictures with Donald look excellent!!

We proceeded forward with our plans to go to Soarin'... Yet again - D~ got distracted by characters. We passed the Character greeting spot and saw that the wait to see the characters was 10 minutes... Must stop so see them before their lines got long!

First we got to meet The Man himself - MM - not my Monster Max - but the Mickey Mouse!

Then there was Pluto:

And Minnie:

Then of course, we got to meet my favorite guy - Donald... Donald was having an off day today. He did not seem to be all that happy that I loved him so much - as a matter of fact - he almost seemed angry. :confused3 In retrospect - I think he was jealous, after all, he is kind of the jealous type - because I was trully all Donald that day!

I did manage to get a hug:

And he posed for a picture:

I even got him to sign my bag - however - He signed GIGANTIC over his face, and in all honesty, I feel like he wrecked my bag. The only thing that consoles me - is that I can always make another one. LOL

We did get to meet another character here, and I am sure you all can guess who is missing. :rolleyes1 However, I need to save that experience - because it was such a magical moment for Victoria that it deserves it's own post. Not only that, but I have sooooo many pictures of it - it needs it's own post. LOL

So please stay tuned... I'll try to get it posted later today, if MM is good to me.

Oh! I wonder if you had the same Goofy -- he was nuts for Alexa -- she was wearing a minnie dot patchwork and minnie shirt I hand appliqued -- it was an adorable outfit but no Goofy on it and he just was crazy for her. He would not let her go -- we backed the line up quite excessively and the cm kept trying to get him to let go of Alexa and he wouldn't. V looked adorable in her outfit so Goofy must have gone nuts for her.

OK, I want to see a pic of the autographed bag. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't have better Donald interaction. And I'm really disappointed that you don't have a pic with Daisy!!!!

Forgot to answer your earlier question -- FROG is finished room over garage. Ours is technically a bedroom since it has a closet but it's too big to use as a bedroom. We have our Wii up there, dh has a train layout and we have our pool table up there -- we use it as our family room/rec room and that's why it's really dh's space.

Yes you took GREAT care of us Andrea when D~ was gone :rolleyes1:lmao:

I was wondering what FROG was too...:rotfl::rotfl: much better name than the "man cave"

see, I almost missed this update! gosh, that is too bad about Donald. Do you have a picture of your bag with the signature?

The very last character we met at the Character Spot was non other than Goofy!

Victoria just adores Goofy - we have had many magical moments with him - and she remembers them all. I also enjoy sewing Goofy items - he is probably one of my favorite characters to sew for, because you can do so much with him.

I am not sure what I can all say about what Goofy did when he saw Victoria - to say that he was excited was a total understatement. He was in love with her! He took her hand and danced with her, then he jumped around the room with her, he admired her bag and her outfit... Then he did it all again and again. Dare I say he was a bit excited, maybe flattered or rather full of himself - it was so hard to describe.

I will let the pictures tell the story, because it was just so cute - and the look on her face - Goofy really made her day - and gave her another magical moment to remember. :lovestruc

Right after this, he acted out the face he was making on the front of her bag - but I didn't get it in a picture.

He loved her Goofy bag - and was only too happy to sign it for her!

Remember the T-shirt she made in Tech Ed???

And then he noticed the orange patches on her dress - and he did this little dance pointing at her patches and his patches...

We barely got to get in for a picture of our own - LOL
IMG_3333.jpg

I do have a bunch more pictures of this on Photopass... because I had to lean over and politely ask the photographer to please take more pictures. LOL

And poor Corri barely got a picture either.

Let me just say, when we first got to Goofy, there wasn't a line behind us. By the time we left - there was a long line and the families were starting to get angry that we were taking so long. The look on the mom's face directly behind us was the look of "next time, I am getting my dd a Goofy outfit" LOL. Goofy barely let us leave and Victoria is in love all over again. I am just not even sure that the pictures do this moment justice - because it was amazing. Definately one of the many highlights of our trip.

I also want to insert a big THANK YOU to Corri... She had my camera during this entire scene, so she took almost all of these pictures. She also sent me the pictures off of her camera that I took. So, if you see different angles - that's why - we were both snapping away. And, if it wasn't for Corri, I wouldn't have all these great pictures with me in them this day - she was so awesome about taking my camera and making sure I was included in some pictures with the girls - so THANKS CORRI!!!! :lovestruc

I can almost guarantee that I can't do that week. Starting the week of TG, it's blacked out for time off at work. :sad1: Pretty much anything from the 3rd week of Nov through the 1st of the year, I can't do.

Ahh, thanks D. I should actually be thanking you for letting me be part of this great story. I was loving every moment of this. V was so happy which made me very happy. It was truely the most amazing start to my trip and I am so glad I was there to help you get as many pics of the moment as we could. And you are right, they don't do any justice to what actually happened. To bad neither of us thought to turn on the video function of are cameras.:lmao:

And you are right about the families behind us. I was going to skip going to see Goofy for them, but I wanted to see Goofy to so I go in there and got a quick pic.:thumbsup2

I can't wait to see the PP pictures.:cloud9:
