Many thanks for the great review and the photo`s, DD and I are headed to the POP next month. Will definately try that chicken dish!
DD was just asking this evening do they do the package delivery from the parks to Pop??

Thanks
Merylj

Yep- you can have your shopping delivered to the resort; I didn't try it because all I seemed to buy were books :confused3 (didn't want to wait till the next day before reading them after getting back from the parks). :earboy2:

Did you use the WDW transport much? How did it cope at closing time (at a busy time of year!)

Sorry, missed this before- yes, I depended on the WDW transport for everything!! The buses were surprisingly frequent (every 15-20 mins or so during the day (as advertised)) but they seemed to struggle on a night for some reason on a couple of occasions (just a couple mind!) Oddly Epcot saw the longest wait times (despite being only 5-6 minutes away) at closing; im guessing but maybe with the proximity 'they' relied on less buses doing more runs. DS, AK and MK buses were very good at closing aside from one night (the 17th i.e. Disneylands birthday) when what seemed like the whole of POP century was in line (the line stretretched back to the MK dock from what I could see) but they sent extra buses eventually.

Aside from that freakish mass exodus from POP inhabitants, the transport was excellent. :)

Hi Sean - thanks for the pics. Pop looks great - love the Play-Doh and Twister icons......is that in the 80's section??

The Play-Doh is in the 60's section by the "Hippy- Dippy" pool and the Twister game is in the 70's section (near the giant table football and Mickey phone).

Yes, I too was in that bus queue for POP on the 17th ;) We had been at Epcot and as it was our last night decided to make a dash for MK after Illuminations to try and catch Wishes. We asked about sitting with the driver on the monorail so in the end had to wait three trains before there was room for us but it was well worth it for the lovely driver we got and the great view of the fireworks as we came into view of MK.

On a couple of occasions we viewed Wishes from the ferry from TCC to MK and its pretty special seeing them from that angle too.

Your photos look fabulous. Thank you for sharing.
Have hairdryers been installed yet?

nice pictures.
the Pop Century looks really nice.
I'll probably be going back to WDW for a few days next month, just with my daughter. I wonder if we should stay there.
I was thinking about staying at the All Star Music (I stayed there a few years back when i was just with my son and daughter, so i thought of doing that again), but the Pop looks really nice.

Was it terribly crowded and noisy?

Not at all- apparantly POP was at capacity during the time I was there but I couldn't tell that except in the areas you would expect to be busy anyway. The pools became crowded by the afternoon and the food court had busy times but we were able to just work around them. Noise was a non issue (probably due to being on the top floor)despite being beside the computer pool. Those in the pool were shouting/ being very noisy one night but I assume somebody complained as the pool was closed soon after...........
