Several questions!

Hi everyone! My future husband and myself just booked our honeymoon trip to stay at Coronado Springs Resort and I've got a few questions if you don't mind.

We're using Mears Shuttle to get from the Airport to our resort. Does anyone have any good/bad experiences they would like to share? Are they reliable in picking people up on time to get back to the airport? How much should we tip?

We're also going to be taking 2 days to visit Universal & IOA. Would any of you recommend a taxi or a rental car for those two days? At CRO, they said that you can rent cars from your resort. Has anyone done this before? How long did it take you? Does anyone know what the cost of a taxi two ways for both days would be?

Sorry I have so many questions, we've usually always driven down and when we've flown in the past, we got a rental car for the whole stay.

The Mears Shuttle, is usually a bus - depending on your time etc.. You may be stopping at some resorts before you get to your resort. I've seen some people ve picked up from their resort late.

I'd say maybe $30 one way for a taxi, thats just a guess.

Depending on the length of yours and Chris' stay, you might try to price, using the many helps from this board and Mary's at http://www.mousesavers.com/transportation.html site to see what a rental might be for the whole trip. Adding the Mears plus the Universal hop, may be more or very close to the cost of a low priced rental for the whole of your trip, plus the added convenience. I just had a three day rental from Hertz for $19 TOTAL, hard to beat that price. Just a thought.
