1. Is it still true that rooms do not have coffeemakers? (we are staying in a standard savannah view room)
2. Is nightly turndown service available for all guests?
3. Is the pool open 24 hours?

Thanks for all the help.

Just stayed at akl, you'll love it. We did have a coffee maker and a fridge (free, but we requested it). Pool was open quite late, but couldn't say if it was all night. Not sure about turn down, but I believe all deluxes offer it on request.

When we stayed in Nov we had to ask for a coffee maker but I hear that they are in all rooms now.

Fridge was in room-- free

Nightly turndown is available for everyone but you need to ask for it if you are not consierge.

I'm not sure about the pool either.

When we stayed in Oct/Nov, there was a coffee maker and fridge in the room already -- we did not request either. I don't know about turn-down service.

Hi,
We had a coffeemaker in our standard savanna view room when we stayed there in Jan 2005. Yes, turndown service is available. You just need to call housekeeping and request it. The pool is "open" 24hrs but lifeguards are not on duty around the clock. As long as you are not disruptive after the lifeguards are off duty you will be left alone.

We love the AKL I am sure you will have a great stay.
