Hi MJGirl - my gut feeling at first was that it's a very bored person, probably a teenager. We all know that whoever was the first person to post under the name of Mickey Mouse isn't really the big cheese. Celebrities are way to busy, have way too many connections, and are way too private to be posting on message boards. Seldom are they name droppers. They have their agents and publicity people arrange everything for them. If they are imposters, I feel bad for all the DIS board members who have been sucked into their game. I don't mind that someone has adopted a celebrity name, but I do mind it if they portray themselves as that actual person to make fools of the rest of us. I wonder if there is any way for the moderators or webmasters to track them down, verify their authenticity, and remove their posts... unless, of course, it IS the moderators who are up to DIS board mischief. Time will tell............................

Hi "maxs gm" - Sorry to hear about the other couple. They're going to miss a wonderful cruise experience. Don't worry, though, because you have lots of DIS friends going!

You're not too late to sign up for Palo Brunch... quite the contrary... you're about six months too early. Three things determine when you can begin registering for excursions, Palo's, etc. If you are staying in Cat 1-3 (concierge), you can register 105 days out from the sail date. If you are a Castaway Club (repeat DCL) member, then you can register 90 days out. If this is your first DCL cruise, you can register 75 days out. Hopefully DCL will start putting excursion information on their website soon. I'm finding it very difficult to be patient... I want to be on the ship NOW!

As for the Palo Brunch, I see you listed your name under the "Cruise-meet in Palo" on the cruise blog. You are in. We've got a travel agent who I'm fairly certain can get us the private room for a group brunch. She got it for us on our last cruise - It was great fun.

DH and I would love to join your Palo brunch. We had dinner there and loved it in 2004, so it was pretty easy to convince him to join the group.

On a new note... What seating for meals does everyone have. I'm booked at main seating, but I'm starting to think that I might switch to late seating. What is everyone else doing?

Great question! We already signed up for late dining. I find that it is less rushed and that you have more time to enjoy the day before having to get ready for dinner.

We are usually a fan of late seating but decided that we should do early seating this cruise. I'm gonna try and pick excursions that end earlier. Also, I figured if we get back too late a couple of times we'll just eat at Topsiders especially on the Rome day. I doubt anyone will make it back in time for their seating.

Oh, I just looked at the new port times. They are much later now.
