"Seven Seven 07" 20070707-11 Night Mediterranean Cruise

I presume that the $59 is per person. We have a family of four. Wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to just get a taxi? How far is the airport from the cruise ship?

I saw somewhere that a taxi ride is about $28.00 US to Old City which is a bit closer to the airport than the port is. I believe it's about a 30 Minute ride. There is another option I've been researching. A private transfer service that can take up to 13. The bigger the party the better the price per person. When is everyone flying in and is anyone interested in sharing a bus like this? Our plan is to fly into BCN Saturday morning about 9:00 am. We're coming in from a week in Malaga.

We are planning on getting into BCN on the Tuesday before the cruise. Still looking at hotels. We are also looking at apartments. If anyone knows of apartment listings let me know.

I have been working. I think I have worked almost everyday since we got back from the cruise. One of my partners had surgery, so I am helping to cover for him. He will not be back until end of November.

I have been looking at the apartments in BCN. I have found 2 or 3 that I think I will look into. All seem to be a better deal than Hotel rooms. We have 8 in our party and would have to get 2 hotel rroms.

I had a tough time finding hotel rooms that would sleep more than 3. I called Disney and they had one hotel that offered rooms that sleep 4 for $290.00 per night. An apartment is the way to go. Good luck with it.........

I'm trying to find my memory card from the last cruise. I'll get more serious about the wine tasting as we get closer, so far we'll be doing it on our aft Cat 3. unless I can get a private venue onboard. Now that my DW found my thread, ( she is cool with it!) I can talk in the open. How many wine lovers are going to be on the trip?

This sounds like it has some interest. My wife and I are not wine drinkers, but would love to see one of those "big veranda" cabins.

Booked a cabin today and now I can officially join this discussion. I've been reading it for weeks, waiting to "qualify" to join. This will be a surprise for DD(11) so we have to plan in secret. We're hoping for a trip to Paris post cruise. Let the planning begin!
