Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake boat operations....

Yep, that thread is old info.

There are two small launches that runs between FW, WL, and CR.

There are two large cruisers that run directly between FW and MK

WL also has boats that run directly between WL and MK. Once of them is a large cruiser and the other is a small launch.

There is also a bus that runs directly between WL and MK.

From CR to MK you have the option of walking or taking the monorail.

There is a small boat that runs between GF, Polynesian, and MK.

You can also take the monorail from GF, and the Polynesian to MK.

From the GF and the Polynesian, you can also walk to the TTC and take the big ferryboat to the MK.

So just to jump in...we have never stayed at WL but want easy access to MK. Will we have that with the boat situation IYO? We love the monorail resorts but might need to cut back on cost.

I did find this on the DIS (wdwinfo.com)

Gold Flag Launch picks up at both the Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resorts.
Red Flag Launch picks up at the Wilderness Lodge
Green Flag Launch picks up at the Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds.
Blue Flag Launch - This boat runs from Ft. Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary Resort.

So, the red flag boats go back and forth between WL and MK
The green flag boats go back and forth between FW and MK
The blue flag boats go aroun WL, FW, and CR.

In what order do the blue flag boats go? If the old information is any indicator, they go WL->CR->FW in the morning and then switch to WL->FW->CR around 3pm. Is this right?

I've searched and found some old info and then some newer info that is different so I'd thought I'd ask for the latest and greatest info.

What are the boat routes that service WL, FW, CR, and MK?

I found this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1614057 but it is pretty old.

You found the old thread that was accurate up until the changes made on 11/18/07.

See the following for current watercraft info that is still in effect regarding the WDW Watercraft Ops on 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake:

For the record, there are 2 small boats that run between GF, Poly, and MK, not 1. They are the launches, the smallest boats we use.

Great list :thumbsup2 at the bottom of your post that's unfortunately "clipped"...

Need to add:

Don't send your kids...or another member of your party... running down the dock yelling at the boat pilot to hold the boat while the rest of you are still a ways from the dock...and the boat is in the process of casting off/leaving the dock...the boat will leave anyway and not wait for you. This "strategy" will not work...just like it doesn't with monorails. Keep your party together when using WDW transportation so no one gets left.
