Oh, Alison... I am SO sorry. How heartbreaking for both of you.

Thanks everyone, she is not heartbroken. She was terrified of flying especially since the wound vac malfunctioned over the weekend. When we were at the nurses station for redressing, she was in tears that she was so terrified about flying. I couldn't make her do it no matter how much I wanted. Elin, I know you understand, you just found out Bob could be on his own for one night, there is no way I would leave her on her own for seven nights! Though they have different circumstances, they both need someone. I still can't leave her for overnight, so there's no way seven nights.

Our points are now in holding, and we have to pay about $200 to get back the airline miles. I'm trying to figure out how we might be able to use them in California. I'm getting used to this. I really somehow didn't expect that this trip would come through. At this point, I wont expect that the Fall trip comes through..As much as I want to meet up with eh Jamborinis, I won't keep my hopes up that it will happen.

We check in to Kidani this coming Saturday (May 5th) and I am so excited. I can't wait for our kids to see all of the animals. Our son is old enough now (4) where he can start to enjoy himself. Last time he went he was only 5 months old. Our youngest now is 15 months so it will be neat to see her reaction to everything.

Alison, I do understand not being able to leave Fran for a week. Especially when you would be clear across the country. I had that little niggle of worry in the back of my mind when I was an hour away for one night. Still want you both to have lots of though.

I'm back home from seeing my princess - she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, this past weekend, our oldest son surprised us with a visit........ it was wonderful - I'm getting spoiled with all these babies!!!

So, I haven't gone back and read everything - how is everyone?? Any news I *need* to know??? LOL

Our trip is coming up FAST - I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited - I'm ready to go!!!

It was awesome, they are both SO sweet!!! I can hardly wait to get them BOTH at Mimi's at the same time, but being out in Kansas City was nice, it was even nicer to have my oldest come home for the weekend!!!! And, I am actually starting to get things together and sorted, we only have 17 more days!!! YAY

How are you and Bob doing? Good I hope!!! Hugs my friend!!
