Yes, tennis shoes are not bad... I was at meeting all day today at the pentagon, and cell phone reception is awful,but I kinda felt awkward in my tennis shoes when everyone else has dress shoes on... But i got over it...

It is better than the boot. Besides I'm sure you look lovely regardless of what is on your feet.
