Seven Dwarves So Close...

if anything, it looks like they slowed the video down to make it seem longer.

Even though this ride isn't the reason I'm excited for my upcoming trip, I must say, this is pretty disappointing! :rotfl:

Um, was that video condensed at all? :rotfl:

Well, it's something I've not been on before, so there's that.

There were 2 cuts I noticed. One was right before entering the dark ride portion, and the other was in the middle of the dark ride portion. Looks like the may be trying to keep a couple elements secret.

Oh good, I hope so!

I like how they continue to edit out the transition from the mine scene to the lift with projections (brand new technology, oh wait, Splash uses it) to keep the optimists believing there just HAS to be some 60 second long, awesome, dark ride storyline in between.

We can hope. I don't want intense coaster elements, but I would like more dark ride. Please tell me there's at least going to be more theming in the outdoor portion? Dark rides and theming is what makes MK special. :confused3 I wouldn't plan a trip around it, but I was expecting a little more. Hey, at least it won't be in such demand that there isn't enough FP+ and they have to tier MK.

I'm not sure why you're so down on some people being excited for this ride. :confused3 Nobody is expecting BTMRR or Space thrills.

It did have a lot of mop buckets around! :rotfl:

60 second ride with short dark portion.

I've been saying this for like 6 months, but of course I didn't know what I was talking about or so they liked to tell me. :rolleyes1 Thanks for the video link!:thumbsup2

Fun ride time is closer to 45, but I'm including leaving and coming back to the dock. :)

So basically what you two are saying is that people will be standing in line over 60 times the length of the ride. Nice.:thumbsup2

While I agree the ride doesn't look.....exciting.... this argument is kind of silly - wait times are always ridiculous in comparison to ride length.

When the Batman ride first opened at Great America back in the late 80's, we waited in line for 3 hours for a 2 min ride? :rotfl: And that was normal.

I'm glad you waited until after my bubble was already burst before throwing that out there!

So did I when they opened our Batman at our Six Flags. 3 hours seems OK if you get you hang from the bottom of the track 100 feet in the air...twist back over the track and go upside down. The payoff is a little better. ;)

Seriously you guys? The video itself is a minute and a half long, and they've cut out all the lifts, and the very beginning and end of the ride itself. It's a 2 minute ride at least.

Only if you count the loading and unloading of the trains. :)
