Has anyone heard when this is supposed to open? Everything I have seen just says Spring 2014. We are going in May and wondered if we might be able to experience it!

Based on the Picts I have seen, I think they will be lucky to have soft opening by April/May but your never know. Also might depend on the weather.

I will be upset if it's not up and running by Memorial Day... I know Disney makes an experience and yes I know they put in added details. But this is not a huge coaster. Coaster themselves can be put up quickly. It's the extras that take time

I don't think so I think we could definitely see a march soft opening. It's coming along fairly well. The ride track was completed a long time ago it's all detail work thats being done now. They are also finishing the cottages that will house the ride and the Snow White area. A new video came out on the disney park blog today and it showed video of the ride going it was an in ride video so they had a camera or someone in the train filming.

So did the scrap the plans to have each mine car swing off the tracks a bit on the turns? I didn't see anything in the video showing that feature. If they kept it, it's much more muted than I would have anticipated.
