Well it is getting closer to opening but I'm not going to watch the video because I want to wait until we ride it to see it.

They often give wrong info....as do the CMs so nothing surprises me. I doubt they know when it opens if no one else seems to.

Maybe it is wishful thinking, but I thought the same thing. Why have this big event and then be like, yeah, we are not sure when it is going to open. My (Disney educated) guess would be someone during the event they announce the grand opening date.

I think they need to rename tomorrow the "Grand NON-Opening".

Disney has kept it a closely guarded secret and no one know. But I seriously think tomorrow is - boom it's open.

So expect to MAD DASH for the FP+ tomorrow.

Disney is trying to react to the internet, social media, etc. Nothing is a "secret" anymore - there have been FD rumors for weeks! I really think this is their "payback" - you want to steal our (Disney's) thunder we won't tell you a darn think and just open it when we are good and ready.

That would be fine with me - we arrive Sunday! I'll be checking for FP+ & watching the Dis for soft opening reports even after we get there.

It's possible. To me that kind of approach is always walking a very fine line. When creating anticipation it's always important never to allow the levels of expectation to surpass what you can actually deliver. We will know soon enough if they got it right or not.

Agree (And have agreed since I got up at 5 am everyday for over a month the last time we did FD a few years ago...)
