Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP+ Opening

A CM sent a text to be in MK Tuesday. He said the last of the construction walls are coming down this morning with final touch ups happening today and soft openings starting Tuesday, if this is true it should make for a couple of fun days on all the Disney blogs.

I really hope you are right. I'm hoping we will get the chance to ride the first week of May. I have 3 MK days planned 5/2,5/6,5/9 hoping that we will be in the right place at the right time on one of those days for the soft opening.

My guess is that FP+ for this attraction will open up in May after the press event.

I was able to make my FP+ reservations on April 17 for June 16-20. I feel bad holding a "fake" FP+ reservation while I wait for 7 Dwarfs Mins Train. I mean I'll use it if 7 Dwarfs doesn't come online... But I hope it does soon!!!

The media event in a few weeks will be huge! Stay tuned on the boards, Facebook and Twitter. Once it opens up, it will be all over the place, but my guess is the first week in May.

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing for my June trip. I booked another fantasyland attraction and plan to switch it over as soon as the 7DMT fastpasses are available.

I was hoping it would be open the first/second week of May, but I am not going to get my hopes up. If it is great, if not...than that would be another reason to return to WDW!

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing for my June trip. I booked another fantasyland attraction and plan to switch it over as soon as the 7DMT fastpasses are available.

should it me a fantasyland attraction? does it matter in the FP+ world?

We will be making our FP + requests this week, and I am trying to figure out my strategy

I hope that this is true! We'll be at WDW for a week mid May and are very hopeful...crossing my fingers!

ouch that is tough to read.. we just got back the first week of April.. decided to do a back to back trip and coming back in the first week of June for the mine train! We are hoping the mine train will be open..... but after that article who knows!

Well, technically "late Spring" can be up to June 20, but I don't think that's what most people envisioned!

4/22 but since the walls are still up it appears what I heard falls into the typical CM rumor category.

CM's have received their training schedule and there are rolling planters out front, usually signs of an upcoming soft opening, everything else is pure speculation though.

Just yesterday a DW bus driver confirmed that there are definitely plans for a new Fantasyland which may include a family themed roller coaster.
