Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP+ Opening

Attractions Magazine has a full ride video - ride timing (not including load and unload) is 2 minutes and 45 seconds. The combination of coaster and high tech dark ride looks amazing! There are three "show scenes" as far as I'm concerned. I won't post spoilers if people don't want them.

Inside the Magic is reporting that Disney will announce the official opening date at the dedication tomorrow.

On Disney's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction page, you can click the "gallery" icon and it says training begins in 14 days - also tells you to complete training on May 18th. So May 15th & 18th are possible opening dates.

My guess on the delay, would be that they were appearing to have show scene music sync issues in the Attractions Magazine video. Again, I won't spoil, but if anyone wants my take on it I will elaborate.

My guess is that FP+ *might* be available tomorrow or Sat when they announce the opening. Because Anna & Elsa fastpasses were available when they announced the opening date.

If this is true I wonder if they'll be doing AP and DVC previews before opening? Hope so!

Well, that's OK with me and expected; but with the amount of hype around this opening, it is also a bit of a bummer for those who don't have AP and/or DVC...

Silly question, but do you think this ride will have a pregnancy restriction?

Well we will find out when the official opening will be tomorrow
Big if! I'll be watching my twitter feed to find out :thumbsup2

I was wondering this, too. We got a DVC preview for TSM. It broke down when we got to the front of the line, but it was still fun going through the waiting room. We'll be there next weekend so fingers crossed.
I'm crossing my fingers for one. If not we'll be there in June so I'm sure we'll get to ride then.

14 days from now is May 15th - which is 2 days after we leave. :(

We are here today and have seen a couple people on the ride (about 4 at a time and always in the back car). Media is everywhere and parts of Fantasyland close at 5 tonight for the event

So what you're saying is that I'm going to have to bookmark this thread and constantly refresh it for the next 48 hours?

Ok. :thumbsup2:coffee::cheer2:

I think for sure! If it has a height restriction it will probably have a pregnancy restriction.

sadly yes
if you go to the walt disney world website and search rides- you can actually sort it by the expectant mothers shouldnt ride restriction...

and the mine train shows up- im going tues-sat of next week so im kind of happy its not open yet since im 6 months pregnant and would have to miss it regardless

My miner name is Classy, read on another social media site that SDMT opening will be announced tomorrow.

We come in on the 15th and we were not planning on doing a park, BUT if I can get a FP+ we are going over there just for the ride and then leaving. I am so excited I can hardly stand it! :yay: :yay: If I give out my phone number can someone call me as soon as FP+ are out :lmao:

I am sorry but this is total BS media event commercial all done this week. There is zero reason it can't be open Saturday. There is no reason they did not know 6 months ago when this ride was going to be done on the exact day.
