Settlement Trading Post - snack credits allowed?

We are staying at the cabins (in 13 days!!!) and have a free dining plan. I'm wondering if anyone knows if we can use our snack credits at the Settlement trading post (since they have groceries). I was thinking for pieces of fruit/yogurt.

I do remember seeing some things on the snack plan at both trading posts and Trail's End. I can't say for sure if it was for the fruit.

been a few years but we did get Mickey bar ice cream. we did not try anything else. from what was said could only use on certain things then.

I am not sure about the Trading post but I did use them for some carry out at Trails End.
