Settle the score--Christmas party or no?

We did it last year and we were dissapointed. I think it was because Disney was in the festive "mood" that time of year that it didn't seem special to us. The parade was fun, but when we found out that the MVMCP parade turned into the same parade during the day for the Christmas break, we were disapointed.

We compared it to the MNSSHP and absolutely loved that! Everyone has his own experiences and opinions. I think everyone should do it atleast once to decide on their own.

We have been going over Thanksgiving, and I think its a great way to get into the holiday mood. The party is the only time you can see the special parade, but I guess as dizzy4dizney said, if you can see that parade during the day at the park near Christmas, it wouldnt be as special. We love going and seeing the decorations, the parade and the snow. We liked it better than the Halloween Party.

The parade is usualy shown around the 4th of December too so they can shoot the Christmas TV special.

My family is considering the party and I was wondering, those that didn't like it did you only go 1 night or did you go for 2?

I've read about people buying tix's for 2 nights to split up all they had/wanted to do and my family was considering that direction as well, but now with all the negative's I am very torn.
