This will be my first PTR for a cruise and my forth Disney Cruise.

An now for some background info on me I am a 30 (I will be 31at the time of the cruise) year old Male from Toronto, Canada and will taking my forth Disney cruise on August 16th 2011, boarding from the port of Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia.

My previous cruses are
4 days on the Disney Wonder in 2006
14 night West bound Trans- Atlantic Cruise on the Disney Magic in 2007
15 night east bound Panama Canal cruise on the Disney Magic in 2008

So far I have no plans pre cruise whatsoever.

As I have been counting down to this cruise it's making me remember my first Disney Cruise, which was the first time and only time so far that I have boarded a Disney ship at the Disney terminal. My first view of the Disney Wonder is something that I will always remember.

I wish that they could bring more of the Disney Magic to other cruise ship terminals they way they do here.

Do you notice anything missing in this picture, it's amazing how much the Wonder has changed in the four years since I last cruised on her.

A view of the destination for my excursion for the day

Yes I went to Atlantis as ever since I had first heard of the resort I just wanted to see it. It really is a beautiful resort. After exploring the resort on a guided tour I headed back to the Wonder with the intention of looking around Nassau some more but ended up watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in my sate room. It was then time to head out of port for our next destination Castaway Cay. But first a few more towel creations.

Of course at this point it would be the first time that the Disney Magic would be crossing the Atlantic, and I was booked on her return journey the next summer (2007).

No it was not foggy, this was because of the humidity and the difference between the temperature inside the ship and the outside.

This was the background of the desktop of my computer for a while.

The previous night the Capitan announced that we would be arriving at Castaway Cay early because of a coming storm and would be leaving earlier then normal we were going to be all ashore at 7:45 am and would have to be back on at 2:30 Pm but instead they changed it to all on broad by 4:00pm At about 3:00 the heavens opened up and it stared to pour with rain. All of the passengers cleared the island extremely quickly. They even brought a tram load of people all the way to the ship. We were underway at 4:00 and the captain announced that they were going to try and find some good weather for tonight as it was going to be the Pirates In the Caribbean Deck party tonight.

As soon as we were clear of Castaway Cay we booked it at full speed heading for clear skis and no rain.

The next day was a day at sea and I spent most of the day wondering the ship. The only pics I have are from that night.

The next day it was time to leave the Wonder, this was the one and only time that I have ever had to get up early on a Disney cruise ship as I had to go and reclaim my passport and go through US customs on the ship. Just so you know up until the Trans Atlantic cruise they would collect all of the passports of non US citizens on bard. Now that has been extended to Canadians as well.

Then it was time to say goodbye....

After leaving the Wonder I headed to WDW for a few more days and the for home and to dream about my next cruise that was only a year away.

The journey began with an overnight fight from Toronto to Munich Germany, where I would be changing planes to fly to Barcelona, Spain.

The Flowing are some pictures out the plane window.

Once I got to the airport in Munich I had to clear customs, and I got loosed looking for it, but eventually found it, then it was back though airport security and over to were I would board the plane for my flight to Barcelona, which funnily enough was right next to the plane I had just gotten off.

Once I had landed in Barcelona I was greeted by DCL staff at the airport who called the town car driver that would take me to my hotel. Once at the hotel I took a quick nap (like 2-3 hours) before heading out to dinner with some people from another message board (not the DPN by the way) that very quickly became friends. After dinner it was time to call it a night as the next morning I would be boarding the Disney Magic for the first time.

When I woke up the next mornig I decided to take some quick photos of my room before packing everything up and heading to the port.

and the bed.

After breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was included with the price of the room, I returned to my room top put on my luggage tags for DCL, a few minutes later someone from the hotel came to pick up my bags and then I heeded out to the lobby to wait for the bus to the port. Well I was waiting I started talking to some people who were also waiting for the bus to the port, we eventually decided to split a cab to to the port as we didn't want to stay in the hotel lobby for much longer and we didn't feel like taking our carry-on luggage with us as we walked somewhere else.

3341272731_99b04bed7f_d.jpg

DCL had added a few banners and some signs to show there presence in the terminal. After checking in I headed over to the pre-boarding area where you could get a picture of a familiar Disney Friend.

Then it was time to board the ship. This was my first view of the Disney Magic.

3341274061_ecf5cdee29_b_d.jpg

As we were boarding the ship from ground level we had to wait as a couple of forklifts carrying cages filled with luggage in them pass by before proceeding to the boarding ramp. Once on board we were taken via elevator to deck 9 where they had a crew member with a microphone welcoming us on bard and they also shot video that they should on the Areal Vision screen on a delay so you could see your self on the screen when you got to it. Unfortunitly the weather wasn't very good that day so there wasn't many people on deck then. After that I garbed some lunch at Top Siders before heading to my room.
