POsted this on Resrt board (probably the wrong place). Thought maybe better here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trying to start the detailed itinerary for our 6N/7D at WL. Arrive at WL ~ 3PM Sunday 19 June. Any suggestions on how we should prioritize the following (my thoughts in Parens).....

MK (1st stop, after check in, return 1/2 day later in the week)
EPCOT (3rd priority, 3/4 day combined with pool relaxing )
MGM (2nd priority, Full day with dinner at 50's cafe)
AK (4th priority, early day. Stay till we're bored)
Water Parks (Plan at least 1/2 day - Early start; Both parks as time permits)
Disney Quest (Filler, but plan at least 1/2 day when we do go)

Some of my thoughts.
- Take advantage of EMH, especially the late night ones. Use those days to combine a park and Disney Quest or an afternoon at the pool or a water park.
- Bound to be a rain day in late June. Use that for Disney Quest or fn wet day at a park ?
- We have Premium Tix, so we can do both water parks. Amybe 1/2 day at each.

Don't even attempt DisneyQuest on a rainy day ... it will be a zoo! There's nothing wrong with a little rain at a theme park. Grab a poncho, and head on over. Lines are shorter, temps are cooler, and in the case of Animal Kingdom, the animals seem to be out in force when it rains. I wouldn't waste a rainy afternoon indoors!

I don't do excel spread sheets, but I did make a chart (as a Word document). I have it filled in with what resort we are staying at when, PS's, which parks when, which parks have EMH, etc. I have it on my desk at work. I look at it every so often...ponder it...and occasionally something will occur to me...then I'll make notes, change things around, etc.

If you have it all in writing in front of you, in a calendar format, it's easier to think about and tweak as necessary.

When setting your schedule, look at EMH, look at what each parks has and what you want to do while there, look at your resort has has and see what you can do there. If you have kids with you I just think 2 half days at MK will not be enough. And you won't be able to do too many late nights followed by an early morning. Just be flexible. There is so much to see and do (rides to ride, shows to see, places to eat, characters to meet) and a lot of waiting to see and do those things. Do you want to do a little of everything or do a lot of the things you love? Would you feel like you missed out if you only swam at the resort and didn't go to a water park?

If I had 7 days and I wanted to do a little of everything and take advantage of Prem tickets

MK 2 days
EP 1.5 days (one full day and one evening)
AK 3/4 day (early morning hours 8-2)
MGM 1 day
DQ for a few hours after MGM

You could do all these parks in 5 days. Do AK in the morning and then EP in the evening on the same day.

That leaves 2 days, I'm assuming one day is also the leaving day, so really about 1.5 days...

Spend one day at the water park and spend any time remaining hanging out at the resort.
