Car is going to be around $450.00 - and they wanted to also put struts and ball joints on - but we said no, cause we can have that done cheaper elsewhere.

It's cold and windy here with snow flurries.

Can you believe my kids won't wear their winter jackets? They've been wearing spring coats and DD insists on wearing her 5 inch open toed sandals. During the last big snowstorm I asked her what she would do if she broke down or got stuck in a ditch. Her reply, "I have a cell phone, I'll call you." Teens.......... gotta love them, right?

DH called before leaving for work and my SIL just got out of surgery about 30 minutes ago. We have no details as to what they did or anything, and she won't be in a room for probably another 1-2 hours. When I hear more, I'll let ya know.

Marilyn, have you looked on Ebay for Tinkerbell? There are a TON of charms there. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Yes Pam, I did. I wasn't on the actual cheerleading squad, but I did do some cheering on the sidelines. I thought the micro-mini would cover all my "assets", but I realized one day that the jeering I heard from the stands was not for the players, as it was halftime. It didn't help any when I would sit in the stands. After a few of the players were injured for not paying attention to the plays on the field, I was asked to never come back to a football game.

I'm having a good day/bad day...........

Bad part is: Had to finally cancel my February trip

It broke my heart to cancel but I had to. Even if DH gets a job right away he probably won't get vacation time yet & today was the last day to cancel without putting the points in to holding so I had to do it today

Good part is: DH is at a job interview right now & has another one tomorrow!

Hopefully we'll be celebrating soon!!!
and.....I got a bracelet!!!!!! I havn't gotten the ebay one yet but I got one like it at Target today on clearance!!!!(the Ann Arbor Target Jen) and they had tons of charms on clearance too!!!!

I need something new in my siggy now.....it looks so empty

I just saw Kayla's story on Inside Edition! What an incredible group of girls!! I saw in the teaser before the show that it was coming on, and knew that it must've been Christin's friend, so stuck around to watch the story. Thank God she's alright... what a scary thing that must've been!!

Nancy I kept meaning to tell you that I saw Kayla's story on Good Morning America about a week ago. What a sweet and very lucky young lady she is. They played the 911 tapes. How scared they all were.

Hi all!

I thought for sure we would be on the island by now!! I was expecting to be docked and finding my beach front location!

Sherry and Jeannie and other survivor fans, did you see that the castaways were on this morning? And it starts on feb 13th!! Yippee!!

Now, we have never gone separate ways for a vacation. I don't know that dh would go for it. But I figure if I plan everything out in advance, he might go for it. So I am not a definate yet for the meet.

I am waiting for my braclet too. If I ordered it with charms on it, do I still have to put them on? and how do I do that?

Sorry the yaya's didn't sleep good. I haven't had any problems with that. I just felt lightheaded today. Weird. Kind of have a headache too. Well, hopefully I'll feel better after exercising!!

Just got a call from DH. He just talked to my SIL and she came thru surgery OK. They took out her gall bladder. She can't talk too well right now cuz of the tubes they had in her throat, but she is feeling OK right now.
