Serving size at Coral Reef???

We are finally trying this place on the DDP in Sept. DH and I will be sharing with DD3, who use to eat very well, but for the past 6 months has been eating like a bird. I love seafood, but have read on this board that the steak is awesome, so I will probably end up with that (not a big fan of catfish or swordfish). I was going to order the ceaser salad with chicken appetizer, and give most of it to DD, as she loves salad. But, I am practically drooling over the lobster soup and/or shrimp cocktail. Which is better? How many shrimp do you get? DD is not really picky over what she eats, just how much.

OMG, what did you order?? We've never spent that kind of money at Coral Reef and we're TWO adults and ONE child.

Last fall on the DDP, our order for 2 adults & 1 child came to $145.44 (including tax & tip). Besides CSH, it was our most expensive meal.

Would I have paid for the meal? No. Our income wouldn't allow it.

It was a good meal though, and definitely too much food.

We had:

3 milks, glow drink (was supposed to be OOP, but due to a credit issue, they ended up including it on the DDP)

beef skewers, shrimp cocktail, no child appetizer

filet mignon, tilapia, kid's catch of the day

Choc. Wave, HCOE dessert (can't remember name),and Build Your Own Sundae.

You're right and it's a HUGE difference in price, considering that the lunch portions I received were very large. I can't imagine that they give you much more than that at dinner.
