Server Too Busy Message??

I just got the Server Too Busy message trying to look at this Server Too Busy message post. :rotfl:

I've been getting it a lot lately too. I just lost a HUGE post too! :badpc:

Yes I get it all the time and I not good at waiting on anything so I end up sitting here yelling at the computer.

I thought maybe the owner of the board (sorry I dont know who that is) maybe needed to buy more bandwith or something??

At any rate I hope its fixable because it truly is anoying.

I hope that they don't start charging us to use the DIS since it's become so popular!

I have also lost posts and made a few double posts because of the Sever is busy message.
It can be very frustrating!

Same thing happening to me. It started about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I had NEVER had this happen before. Anyone know if the DIS boards are having these technical difficulties due to larger volume or do they have equipment issues they are working on that limits activity???

It is so frustrating when I am trying to make it a quick read/post and it turns into such an ordeal. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Anyone with concrete answers?? :confused3

Same here - I was trying to find a time when it wasn't happening but no luck, at least not with my schedule...I haven't been here very often recently because it's so frustrating! Hasn't happened today though...first time in a month!! :thumbsup2

If you get a server busy message do not use the refresh button or the forward button. Otherwise you will plow right back into the same screen with the server busy message.

It is acceptable to add a new reply with a question you want to ask without clicking and waiting for each pageful and reading the entire thread of dozens of entries. For those who disagree consider the alternative of beginning a new thread.

Don't bother fixing little things if it gets time consuming due to server busy messages.

Disney hints:

Q: "A co-worker seems to be sloppy answering emails. Once he sent me a reply beginning "Dear Susan" and my name is David. Obviously a hasty cut and paste job."

A: "Be lucky you got your reply promptly. If the co-worker took the time to proofread, it might be a few days later before you got the reply."

It's happened to me as well and though it is frustrating I was also wondering if anyone else has experienced logging onto the disneyresort web site, logged on only to learn when the next frame comes up that for whatever reason it only allowed you "in" but you have re-log on to obtain any information. Has that happened to anyone else? I thought it was a glitch, me or whatever but it has happened everything for about 2 weeks and I log on every day just to get my day count until my trip!:confused3

Yes, I'm getting them daily. Disboards is too popular, or has too much content? Hopefully, the server will not self-destruct :goodvibes

We'll all be on vacation soon! Stay off of the disboards! Right, I'm already planning on taking my laptop. :cloud9:

I've been receiving the message quite frequently, as well, and chalk it up to summer vacation! I usually hit the refresh screen and then I don't get the "server too busy" message.
