Seriously...You're Going Again?! Yep!! The Final Wrap-Up!!! 12.26.13

Glad you liked the new "Tron Track". I've only done single rider so I haven't had the full design experience. Though from what I hear it seems to not work more often than it works. I did think it was pretty cool looking though, but I've never been a huge fan to begin with. But then 65 mph into a bank turn can't be all bad. :car:

Well phooey on your design your car screen not working! Our's worked fine but it's a good thing that Hunter knew what he was doing because I had no clue. :rotfl: Madison did a mighty fine job on finding a new car. :thumbsup2

I'm with you on Living With The Land and The Behind the Seeds tour. Love them both!

My next trip I hope I can try it out again! Everyone was talking about their car but we didn't have one! :sad1:

Thanks to you I gave Behind the Seeds a try and so gad I did!! :thumbsup2 And Madison picked out a great car but too bad that isn't what she drives!!:lmao:

Enjoying your TR so far! I can't wait to hear more. :goodvibes:

Thanks! So happy you are enjoying it!! :goodvibes There is a lot more to come!!

:laughing:It is like Tron Track!! Yeah, around here we have a curve on the interstate I bank at 70 so it isn't really that great of a thrill...but I suppose it is a Disney thrill! That makes 65 amazing!!

Subbing in!! Lovin' it so far! I'm famous for forgetting my swim suit, Always having to find a new one. You would think that's a good thing, but I HATE swim suit shopping. :(

Looking forward to the next update!!!!

Thanks!! :goodvibes It is coming up!!

Welcome!! Glad you are enjoying! I am not a fan of swimsuit shopping either!! :sad2: Shopping yes...just not for swimsuits!!

Having just finished enjoying Living with the Land we decide to begin our walk to World Showcase. As we leave The Land and head to the right, I see the Butterfly House!! I love walking through the Butterfly House!!

Off we go!! Tinkerbell and all of her Fairy Friends were playing host this year! And what grand hosts they were!!! How about a little tour?

I loved all of the little houses!!

The butterflies really had not made an appearance yet but we saw the cocoons!

More of Tink's friends (I would name them but I would do horribly at that chore! :worried:)

The next three pictures were an adventure to take since a family had entered that never learned to tell their children "no", "don't climb", "excuse me", or "sorry for nearly knocking you face first over the rail"!

We decided it was best to leave. We had made our way through the entire Butterfly House anyhow. As we exited I snapped one more picture!!

The Flower and Garden Festival is one of my favorite times to be at Epcot!! I love it!! :lovestruc

continued in the following post...

Moving on towards World Showcase, we decide to "follow the yellow brick road"! The Great and Powerful Oz had just released and Epcot had a special exhibit to promote the movie. We really had a great time walking along this path and took advantage of the little games. The CMs were so friendly too so we spent time talking with them as well!

The entrance!

First up was a tent with crazy mirrors...you know the kind...you look tall or short or thin or a little of them all!!

The CMs were giving away prizes and as we left this tent we each got a button pin promoting the movie. The next tent was a bean bag toss! This one was lots of fun too! our prize here were packets of marigold seeds. We planted them and had pretty little flowers until the 4th of July weekend when we went out of town and they didn't get watered. :sad2:

Madison attempts to toss the bean bag:

And then Chris (also this is one of the sweet CMs):

Moving on now, the kids decide to test the hot air balloons out:

Pretty flowers!! I think these were glass or high end plastic, plexi-glass or some type material but they were pretty:

I just thought the name of the ice cream sandwiches were cute....

I always knew they were little monkeys!!! :rotfl:

The kids play area was super cute!!

And that my friends was The Great and Powerful Oz!!

We seriously had a great time here! It was so simple yet it was a lot of fun to slow down and take it in!!

Continued in the following post...

When we exited the "yellow brick road" we took a right and headed towards Canada!! It was around 10 am so everything was still closed but it is fun to go in when it is slower!

Keith wanted to sit a spell, so he found a bench. One of the things he really likes doing is sitting and watching everything going on around him. One of his gripes about the rest of us is that we are always raring to go, go, go!!!

Madison tried to get him to move on but he resisted!

Once we did move on, we found ourselves in England!! Peter Pan was well represented!!

I loved how they placed Peter Pan on the roof's edge!

And of course The Hundred Acre Woods is well represented as well!!

I got these pictures last year and couldn't resist again this year!

And I shall end this post at the bridge leading to France!!

Up next: Lunch!! But where?!?

I have never understood parents who don't keep their children in check when there are lots of others around. I have never kept my kids "on a short leash" so to speak but they did know not to run around jumping into others and then not apologize.

Moving on....the pictures of the Butterfly Garden and the Oz area are fantastic! I've said it a dozen times but I wish that they'd extend the Flower and Garden festival out to the end of May. The grounds are always so pretty during the festival.

Oh Keith and his sittin' down and relaxin'! Remind me to never let him and John go to Disney together. They'd never get anything accomplished. :lmao:

Aw gee, I completely missed the Butterfly House when I was there.

Hmmm, is it lame or impressive that I know all the fairies' names. :scratchin

Having been to the Flower and Garden so often, boy do I find that Epcot looks weird without it. :upsidedow

The flower and garden festival always looks like such an amazing time to visit, especially from your pictures :goodvibes That's one of the reasons I always enjoy reading your TR's, your pictures are always so amazing!

The fairy topiaries are gorgeous, and I love what the Oz set up looked like. How neat! Yikes about those kids, that's awful!

I want to go one year during the festival. I love all the pics! We are going again in November and I really want to do the Behind the Seeds Tour. We are also staying at a POR for the first time so I need to go find your TR from that trip!!

Sorry for the delay! We took a long weekend trip New Orleans...a hot one at that!!! It was sweltering!! :scared: i longed for air conditioning!

I always think "let kids be kids" but these kids were running all around and swinging on the the rails. And they were older too which was even sadder! I think they should extend the dates! It is only a couple of weeks!!!

They'd never get anything accomplished but boy could we!! :thumbsup2

Joining in!!

Welcome!!! :cheer2:

Aw, sorry you missed the Butterfly House! I thought it was better this year than last (not that last year's was bad, though!). I always think Epcot looks a little sad when all of the flowers are gone!

I am quite impressed you know all of the names!! :thumbsup2

Thank you so much!!

Those kids were misbehaving so badly!! But moving on to the Oz set up made us forget all about them!!

I want to go one year during the festival. I love all the pics! We are going again in November and I really want to do the Behind the Seeds Tour. We are also staying at a POR for the first time so I need to go find your TR from that trip!!

I just love Epcot during the Festival! The Behind the Seeds tour is totally worth it! I hope you are able to do it! The report from last summer ("Stop and Smell the Roses") was has a lot of pictures from both POR and POFQ, "I Can't Believe He Said Yes" was our first trip and stay at POR. It may not have links since I was such a newbie at TRs and I can't remember but I did take a lot of pictures that trip too around POR! We really like Port Orleans a lot. Madison actually picks it over most other options!

I left off as we were crossing the bridge between England and France. I am not sure exactly why but this is one of my favorite places in World Showcase! Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty were dancing the morning away with their Princes:

And soon we were entering France!! It was still a little before 11 am so not much was open yet. We were welcomed by Belle, The Beast, and all of the Gang! Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies so I really love these topiaries!!!

I will just let you enjoy and stop talking!!

And then Keith found a sitting spot and wanted to sit a spell (seeing a trend here?? ;)) But at least he found a pretty spot!!

I got bored pretty quickly and started looking for picture subjects:

Continued in the following post...

And on this boredom journey I entered into the "Paris" store (that's what we call it anyway!) and found something amazing!!

I went back to find everyone and talked them into joining me for lunch!!! Well, it started as a snack that became lunch!!

Boulangerie Patisserie!!! We love this place and I especially love the new location!!! It was very hard to choose!!

We settled on Croissant Jambon Fromage - ham, cheese and bechamel in a croissant:

Quiche Florentine - spinach, goat cheese quiche:

And the Chaussons Aux Pommes - apple turnover:

Keith didn't cooperate on the food picture taking too well.....

This was the view from our table:

The food was so good and filling so it became lunch for us all!

Next up,we keep moving on around the world!!

Joining in!

Glad y'all made it there safely. The pirate rooms looks soooo cool! I've always thought about booking one for Reid but I was always scared that those beds would be uncomfortable.

I'm enjoying all of your pictures, especially all the topiaries @ EPCOT.

Can't wait to hear more!
