Well, I am taking this with a grain of salt right now. There is nothing on the hub or anywhere else.

Understood... based on my follow-up information. But I'd say it's a lot stronger that hearing it from a bus driver!

True but with everything that's happened with this show its hard to believe anything until its actually open.

True, and of course even if that's the current plan, it's still subject to change due to the unknowns.

There is nothing on the hub or anywhere else.

It won't be on The Hub until the day after the show opens.

They really don't worry about going over budget nor missing milestones. It's just a fact of life for them and very seldom does anybody really get in trouble for it.

No biggie ... they can make it up with increased sales of alcohol, upsells and upcharges. Although poor old Magic Kingdom is usually the cash cow that gets squeezed in order to cover the sins committed in the other parks.

Has anyone else noticed that by far the most successful theme parks are the ones built on a pattern designed in the 1950s whereas the more recently that the Disney Corp has built parks, the more small and relatively unpopular and unprofitable they are? I'm thinking of DHS, AK, California Adventure, and the Paris parks. Tokyo is an exception but it was not primarily conceived and funded by the Disney Corp.

I've been told dates, time frames, insider information about 3 times and none of it has come to fruition. I haven't even asked about this new Jan date because I'm tired of being disappointed. Disney changes their mind about every 2.7 seconds.

I was at Animal Kingdom today, and I decided I would ask a CM outside the theater if they have heard anything about an opening date. Their response was, "It will now open in 2017, but an opening date has not been announced." Thanks CM. You basically gave me the answer I already knew lol.

I wouldn't expect a different answer lol. I only asked because the theater doors were open at the time. They could have been thinking of doing a surprise performance with all of the CM Previews that have happened.
